When is best? Jan - March

Trying to decide which week to go between January and March. Of course like most folks we want "least busy" but I'd love it to not be too cold to be able to utilize the pools at the resort too. When are the best weeks to visit between Jan and March?

January will be the cheapest, least crowded, and coldest.
February will be more crowded, more expensive, and slightly warmer.
March will be most crowded, very expensive, and highs around 78.

Take note of the marathon race weekends that happen in January and February. While these are mainly weekend events, the increase in crowds is pretty significant, so try to plan your trip accordingly. Crowds are lower right before and right after these weekends.

Good tip. I'm checking in for my next trip on the Saturday of Marathon weekend and checking out on the Saturday of MLK so we're expecting big crowds the first and last day, but it should be pretty slow in between.

I have been in all 3 months. Was there for New Years 2012-2013...and dear lord was it crowded.

Was there this past February for Valentines day. Crowded, not terrible though and temperate was very cool.

Was also there the first week of march 2013. Small crowds, nice weather, not overwhelmingly hot

We played around with dates from Jan to March, and this chunk seemed to be the most reasonable. So we booked the room and flights, and now we're just waiting for a good promo. Fingers crossed for Play, Stay, Dine and Save again this year! Awesome deal.

What was the deal? So you can book it and still get the deal if it happens after the fact?!

Yes, as long as the deal has available inventory at your resort.

Be aware many school districts have spring break in March most schools in Texas are in early march which makes the parks crowded as well as the disney fine arts program has many bands doing parade performances in march.

January, after the Marathon and MLK weekends. February can be cold, also. But towards the end of January will be the least crowded (can we say that about WDW anymore?). February has President Day weekend - and that Monday is a holiday for Orange County schools and includes Valentine's Day. The following weekend is the Princess Half Marathon. And March will have increased crowds due to Spring Breaks and Easter (avoid the last week of March/first week of April). But the weather won't be bad.

Personally, I would go after MLK weekend and before Valentine's Day weekend.

Isn't Pop Warner also sometime in January?

And then there's the Brazil Tour Groups on their summer break in January......
