When in May?

Hi there!

I'm new to the boards and am planning our second trip to WDW. We're planning for sometime in May, but would like to go during a slow time. Ds wants to go during the Flower and Garden Festival, and dh wants to go during Star Wars Weekend, which I think is usually the last weekend of May, right? We'd also like to go when the water parks are open...So I guess that's a tall order...Special event time, low crowds, May, water parks. Help!

Are you planning on going this May? If not until next year, I would recommend going the week following Mother's Day. We've gone at this time twice and have always been pleased with the warm weather and low crowds. Last year the temps were in the low 90s so the waterparks worked out great. If you are planning on going this year, I would think any week before Memorial Day would be fine. Have fun planning and enjoy your trip!
