When Does Fort Wilderness campground really get decorated for Christmas

Hello, I am coming to WDW this December (actually Nov 30-Dec 6) and wanted to take my Mother in law who is from Europe and has never seen Disney World at Christmas (she visited WDW) 6 years ago in the spring. We want to go to Trails End for dinner one night and then maybe go on a carriage ride as I have heard that people really go all out decorating their campsites. My worry is that we are too soon - does anyone know if there will already be people there that decorate and are we too early, if so maybe we should just ride the bus around...Thanks!!

The resorts will all be decorated by Thanksgiving. Fort Wilderness will have their decorations up in their common areas, and a lot of the campers at that time of year decorate as well.

I was there November 15-21 last year and there were tons of decorations on the campers. It was really cool to see - not just lights but inflatables and moving/musical statues. Hopefully the campers this year will be just as festive!

We were just there in Sept and there were many campsites decorated for Halloween by mid Sept. We spoke with several of the guests who stay there fall through the New Year who were decorated and they told us that they will start working on their Christmas set ups just after Halloween. Check out the 100 and 700 loops if you get the chance.
