Wheelchairs at the resorts

I was wondering what the situation is with availability of wheelchairs at the resorts. I am especially interested in the Beach Club Resort and the Bay Lake Resort. Thanks.

If you need one for the length of your trip, you should either rent one from each park that you visit (daily or for your length of stay), or rent one from an offsite vendor.

While each resort does have a wheelchair or two in case of emergencies or temporary need, they are not meant for someone to use for their entire vacation.

If you will need a wheelchair for the length of your stay, your best bet (and most cost effective) would be to rent one from an off site vendor. Along with saving you some money, you will be able to have it with you both at the parks and at the resort.

While you can rent a wheelchair at a park, there are drawbacks, including that you can't take it with you back to the resort, and also that it's first come, first served, so in the busier seasons, there is no guarantee they will have one available.
