Well Rockin Roller Coaster isnt Bad at all. You go upside down 3 times just for a matter of seconds. It's Awesome. I Like it a lot more than space mountain because space mountain is really really shaky. RnC is a much smoother ride.

You can hardly tell you are upside dwon because of how dark it is in the building. You will be more occupied by the sure speed of the coaster than anything else.

Well, Space Mountain and RnR are both fantastic rides. To me, Space Mountain is very, very slow b/c I've been on it 70 times in 4 trips! RnR is in the dark, so all you can see are lights. It's not scary at all. There are only 2 corkscrews and 1 loop. Trust me, you don't even feel the loop b/c of the 0-60mph rush in 2.8 seconds! It's so much fun. I'm a chicken when it comes to looping coasters, but I LOVE RnR. I was nervous when I got on the first time, but now it's just a walk in the park and it's one of the first rides I ride when I get to WDW.

Don't worry. Neither ride is bad. RnR is faster than Space Mountain, but neither ride is worse than the other. You'll love them both.

106 days to go.... :sohappy: :sohappy:

R&RC is such a great ride. It is really smoothe and and you barely feel the inversions. I recommend you go on it... you may find you have a new favorite!

Oh, but I would say that RnR is worse if you're thinking about motion sickness and everything. Personally, I don't get sick on rides, so I can't help you there.

Technically, the first maneuver is called a bowtie, and the second is only half a corkscrew. I'm quite sure that a full corkscrew has two inversions, not just one. My coaster memory is a bit shaky right now, but I know a full corkscrew can be found on the Ninja at Six Flags over Georgia.

As for which ride is worse, that just depends what you look for in a coaster. Space Mountain uses a traditional lift hill, the track is quite rough, but the ride is longer than RnRC. RnRC is a very smooth ride, has a launch and inversions, has a soundtrack, but is a very short ride. I feel that both are great rides, but a lot of coaster buffs make fun of Space Mountain because it only technically an indoor steel mini coaster. Nothing special. It's not fancy enough to compete with the modern day coasters such as Hulk and RnRC, but that still doesn't mean that it's not a great ride.

Heading for the great escape.
Dont be a big Jessie just get on and ride. Remember in the dark no omne can see you scream. And on RnR no one will hear you either, not even the person next to you. :sohappy: WWWOOOAAAAAHHHHHHHH

 I love it when I have to convince someone to ride a coaster. As coasters go this is a very timid and tame one. Of course if your not a coaster fanitic like my you'll have a little trubble in getting off and saying that was week  Anyway this ride is great and deffinatly not intense. In my opinion Disney didn't have to spend the money to make it like it is cause the scariest part (and best) thing about this ride is the music blasting out of seat. That is so cool :D

Intense!

With all respect to previous posts, I found Rock 'n Roller Coaster to be more intense that Space Mountain... at least at the moment of "launch". What you won't feel is the little gut-grabbing drops, like in Space Mountain. Instead, you'll experience sound effects, the sudden kick of acceleration and rush through a narrow passage followed by...

* stops self, not wanting to be a 'spoiler' *

Like most coasters with a 'horsecollar' restraint and all-steel track, the ride is smooth and not particularly illness-inducing. Take a couple of deep breaths (don't hyperventilate!), put your head back against the head rest, relax and enjoy the ride!

Definatly don't miss this ride. I have a friend who hates upside down roller coasters. Every ride we go on she asks, "does this one go upside down?" It took some convincing but she rode and it was her favorite ride. We rode it again and again. Like CM1988 said, keep your head firmly against the headrest and you will love it. :animwink:

RnR is pretty tame for a roller coaster in the way that it isn't too jerky or rough, which is something I happen to look for in a good coaster. You can hardly notice that you're going upside down because the ride is so smooth.

My brother gets motion sick and he loved RnRC! I don´t like coasters, I´m really afraid of them, but I got brave and rode RnRC........ many times!! :D I love it!
It helps that it is dark, very fast, you have Aerosmith music in your ears...don´t miss it!! Guarantee you´ll do it more than once!
I like it a lot better than SM.
If you are so afrad, do not sit in the front or the very back seat of the limo. I personally love and request the very last one cause I love seeing everyone turned upside down before my turn comes! hehe :D (and this comes from a person who is afraid of rollercoasters and has only done this one!) :animwink:

The Aerosmither is a thrill ride without equal in any Disney park. It's worth it for the magnetic acclerator block alone. Unlike Space Mountain, RR is a brand-new steel coaster with very close tolerances, resulting in a very smooth ride, one that feels much more like "flying" than anything else on property. As far as going upside down goes, don't let it worry you. It actually is a MUCH less intense feeling than the bigger drops of Space Mountain, and once you ride a looping rollercoaster once it will open up a whole world of attractions to you at different parks.

I'd have to say Space Mt. is worst just cause it is very rickety and bumpy ride. and sometimes you feel like the car is actually gonna fall off the track. RRC is perfect, awesome ride, very smooth and lotsa fun. By the time you realized you just blew in the tunnel at 60mph in 3 seconds the ride will pretty much be over, and you'll wanna get on again. My favorite ride at WDW PERIOD!!!

oooops!!

I just realized that I voted for RnRC as the worst! Take one vote off!!! I thought we were voting for which one you should try! I agree with the previous vote, SM is worst! It´s so bumpy, it´s even painful.... :animwink:

RnR is one of the best roller coasters I have ever been on. It ranks up with Millenium Force at Cedar Point on my list. The ride isn't even that bad. For me, the ride is just and adrenaline rush. Space mountain is also great because its in the dark, BUT it is a slow ride. I love speed and RnR craves this for me. My sisters friend went on vacation with us once and she hates looping coasters so we tricked her onto it because its hard to tell if it loops unless you read the signs. Anyway, we got her on, she was mad we lied to her, but overall she enjoyed it. So, I highly recommend the ride.

I absolutely love RnR coaster but have to go with Space Mountain as it is still that "classic" Disney ride........

When me and my family went down in November it was the first time Rock 'N' Roller Coaster was open for us to ride. My mother said she would try it once and probably never go on it after that. She didn't like rides that go upside down and figured she would not like the ride. Well she went on it the first time and loved it and me and her ended up going on it about five more times after that. It was her favorite ride down their.
