Whats up with the February hours?

I really dont understand the February hours, why do the parks close so early? :shrug: Im going to WDW from Feb 16th-21st, and like I said when I go during that week all of the parks will be closing early like MK will be closing either 8 or 9 pm, Epcot at 9, DHS at 7, and AK at 6, it just doesnt make any sense because the week I am going is Presidents Day Week, and its a very busy time at WDW and they have the parks closing early.:brick:Just doesnt make any sense? Anyway does anybody know if Disney may expand the park hours for Presidents day week? I understand why that AK closes early but why MK and DHS closing so early????. If anybody wants to put any feedback in that would be great, thanks . Oh yeah and one more thing I have listed the links below for the park hours at each park during Presidents day week.

It gets cold in the evenings. Since even if it's busy people leave when it gets cold, they lose earlier.

This has been their practise for years.

Hours have always been shortened in February, and especially due to the economy, you get the hours you are seeing. In years previous, the MK has been open until 11 pm during Presidents Week, but they are expecting a decrease in attendance this year.

...and if you compare the crowds in late December to mid-February, you will understand the difference in park hours.

Yes, but this is a lot earlier than, they usually close this time of year, Mk, is usually open to 9 sometimes 11 the same week I always go. This year 8:00 is the latest we get. Which sucks, b/c I enjoy being in the park at night time. I prefer that much more than being there in the daytime.

ive went feb vaca the past 17 years and am this year. It does get kinda chilly in the evenings but usually no need for a sweatshirt. Also these hours are the earliest they have ever been. !!! Usually MK still has a couple 10 or 11's
