What's the longest you've ever waited for Mickey?

No
I haven't really seen many characters since I was about 8 or 9 years old. By then I had lost interest, and my brother, who is six years younger, had zero interest. The last character I saw was the Beast after dining at BOG. It was with my bff and it was kind of special, so we did it. Probably the longest wait I've ever done is 20 minutes. I'd be willing to wait 15 minutes for Anna and Elsa. But not more than that.

I will say that one of the highlights of my last trip was watching Gaston in NFL. He was hysterical. Leaning up against a wall waiting for people to come and pose around him, then yelling, "NEXT!" The actor was great. Spot on.

I guess you can do like I do and only post pictures of myself 30 years after they were taken and then I can live with the fantasy that I still look like that. In the meantime, I would defy anyone to match the current me with the picture. I guess I'll just have to wait 30 years to see it. Let's see... I will only be 96 by then and according to my calendar, I will probably be bungee jumping that day. :joyfull:

I put it in my Google Calandar! One day early though to make sure you see it before your bungee adventure.

25 minutes is the most I've ever waited for a character in general. Mickey usually only a walk on or 5 mins as I would go just after FoF parade ended, when people were leaving the park for a nap or going elsewhere.

We don't wait for Mickey because we see him at Chef Mickey's and Tusker House (yes, we do both). We only see Mickey in the parks if he has no line or is wearing a special outfit. One year my kids saw Mickey so many times, it actually became a bit boring for them. Now we have waited 45 minutes to meet the fairies and some of the princesses. I drew the line though with waiting 3 hours to meet Anna and Elsa; this was before the FP option.

Not too long. At EPCOT Character Spot, we jumped in line, and had no wait at all! Love meeting Mickey at character meals- much better!:D

We've never waited to see a character. We see Mickey at Chef Mickeys and that's it!

I love seeing the random ones without a wait! We'll go meet with them! But if there's a wait, NOPE!

10 Minutes. Maybe. Although I have seen his wait well about an hour on a normal afternoon. Mickeys great and everything...but Goofy's the best IMO :inlove: And I literally just remember I didn't see him (Goofy) this past trip!! Welp time to go back I guess

That is my observation too. As often as not it is not the kid who wants to wait an hour in the blazing sun for a stupid pic with a foamhead, but the parent who just paid his last few pennies for that, for what the commercials said amounts to kid heaven.

Commonly accompanied by near tears from everybody as the exhausted kids are made to stand still in the hot sun like prison inmates while the parents are angry at their ingrates for not being blissfully happy.

I agree I certainly see a lot of that. I am glad to say all it took was my dad saying 'do it for your mother she really wants to meet mickey' to make me do it without a fuss. I did tease her a little though by trying to catch the lizards in line which grossed her out and amused me. I do not think I have ever cried in Disney for any kind of negative/exhausted reason. As a child or adult.
