Whats the latest on Disney & Harry Potter

Does anyone have anymore information on a possible collabaration between J.K Rowling and Disney over the rights to Harry Potter.
Will he be featuring in the parks soon or do we think the franchise should stay away from Disney altogether.

Rumors are that JK Rowling did not like what Disney offered here so she is "in talks" with moving everything Harry Potter over to Islands of Adventure. Gut instinct tells me that neither park (Universal or Disney) will acquire the rights.

Well I don't think Harry Potter belongs in Disney's enviroment.. maybe Islands of Adventure, but not Disney World/Disneyland.

Due to the fact that Harry dies at the end of the last book Disney didn't want anything to do with the books. But not only does he die but Hogwarts is blowen up also, so really they don't have much to work off of. Sure the Dark Forest is only half burnt down but just the tie in they didn't want to chance it.

Disney has its own adventure-fantasy series that I bet they'd like to invest in. The next film in the series comes out next summer.
