What's the family tree for the "Carousel of Progress"?

Even though the "Carousel of Progress" is a classic ride and should not be closed I would like to point out a couple of mishaps.

What are correct names for John's family lineage?

In many Disney brochures the family names are different in each printing.

I want to settle the score and know the correct names.

John the main character of "Carousel of Progress" is a man of the 1950's in his mid 30's or 40's.

This being the case why is John seen as the narrator of "Horizons" by GE taking place in the 2070's?

Just how old is John?

Any diagrams and graphs would be great.

John = Father
Sarah = Mother
Patricia = Daughter; Jane was the original daughter
Jimmy = Son
Uncle ORVILLE = Brother of?; Used to be Cousin Albert
Grandma and Grandpa

(Perhaps one set is at the television, the other set (i.e. mother's side, father's side) is in the finale. They look much different in each scene!)

Then an unidentified girl is in the Opening Scene...

And then there's Rover, the parrot, the infamous camoflauge cat...

Is it just me or does none of them look the same in the last scene? And they all have the same names from 1900 until the new millennium? This is the king of the "don't think too hard about it" attractions. If you do, it's no fun. If you don't think too hard about it, it's a very charming, fun, and occasionally corny show (but still charming).

Who is who?

Who is who?

I know its fun to watch CoP and Horizons (when it was operational) and not think in detail but since there is so much cause to close CoP I'm asking these questions now so people can check while CoP still open and guests remember it.

Question 1.
How would people explain away the character age differences form CoP to Horizons?

Question 2.
This being the case, was it Jane who was flirting with the "Beach Boy" on Horizons and controlling the harvesters in control station booth 4 around the lorange crops in Mesa Verde?

Cousin Orville until 1994.

Then he became the Uncle. :D

Dog became Rover FOR GOOD in 1994. Before that, there were different names (Now is the Time version). :)

Get out of the 70s and 80s already...it's almost been 10 years! :lol: ;) :p

(Oddly enough, DisneyWorld.com finally presents the information correctly! Kudos after 10 years ... ;) )
