What's the correct order of the T's in TTC?

OK, this has been bugging me lately. I always refer to the TTC as the Transportation and Ticket Center. I mean, it's that way in the monorail spiels, for example. But I've read blogs and heard Disney history podcasts where they call it the Ticket and Transportation Center. Which is it? Was it Ticket-first in the old days but, over time, ticketing was de-emphasized and they switched to saying transportation first? Or was it always one way and the other is wrong?

Transportation and Ticket Center. Blogs and podcasts are not official and so make mistakes.

It was the Ticket and Transporation Center during the early years and was changed to Transporation and Ticket Center. When MK opened the Ticket and Transporation Center was the main location to purchase admission, hence the reason Ticket came first. There was no monorail to Epcot or buses to other destinations, just the monorail and ferry to MK (and resort monorail.)

When TTC became more of a transportation hub and less of a ticket sales location, the words were switched.

I usually refer to TTC as "That Terrible Center" because it is such a pain to get to the MK from there. LOL :joyfull:;)
One persons "pain" is another's pleasure! I have used the TTC every trip but one in the past 35 years. The one time that I went by direct bus, I had this overwhelming feeling that I was missing a huge part of the MK experience. The excitement of the Monorail over to MK or the beauty of the scenic ferry ride across the Seven Seas Lagoon while watching the Castle get closer and closer and closer. Or even the return at night and the lights reflecting off the lagoon from MK, the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian and the Poly just made my day complete. So those of you that enjoy the smelly buses because you get there a couple of minutes earlier (maybe) keep it up, the lack of crowds on the Ferry's and Monorail just enhances the enjoyment for the rest of us.

To me it's only terrible if they're forcing everyone on the ferry to MK instead of the Monorail

Again, not to me. I use the Ferry's probably 90% of the time. The ride is fun, the cooler air above the water is pleasant, the view is nice, and, having been there at times when they were "forcing" everyone on the ferry. it was still less crowded and much more pleasant then the Monorail. To me the Monorail is for mid-day trips to Epcot, otherwise it is a zoo.

Thanks for confirming Tuvalu, that's exactly what I suspected and explains why on the Retro Wdw podcast they always put ticket first. They're staying true to the old moniker.
