What's the best way to get to Hoop-Dee-Doo?

I made reservations for 5 p.m., and we'll be driving from Pop Century. The priority seating guy said it would be smart to show up at the entrance to Fort Wilderness around 4 p.m.

The problem is, I haven't been to Fort Wilderness since I was a baby! So once I get there, then what do I do?

Also, I read a tip that you can take a boat from TTC over to Fort Wilderness and it would be a quicker way to get to the show. Is that true?

There is no boat from the TTC...however, I do recommend the boat. You can pick it up from the Magic Kingdom right ouside the turnstile, you can also take a boat from the Contemporary, and Wilderness Lodge. So go to the Magic Kingdom, then exit and grab the boat to Fort Wilderness around 4pm. I do Hoop Dee Do every year and I love the show....and after the show, you can back on the boay and head back to the park if you like, if not, you can catch the bus back to your resort.

I'd have to say take the boat if you can. Its a lovely relaxing ride.
We have taken it a few times. The best is just at sunset or heading back toward the MK during the fireworks show.

You can also take a bus from the ttc if you want to make less stops.

We did the same thing in Feb. We drove from Pop towards MK. You don't have to pay if you have your resort parking pass. You'll veer right towards FW onto a two lane road. There will be a sign that tells you where to turn & park. You then take a bus to Pioneer Hall. We found it to be quicker than the boat way, if time is an issue.

If you have a car, use it. It is the fastest and easiest.

As you get to the MK toll booth, go through the lane which says for resort guests (all the way to the right next to the bus lane).

After going through the toll booth, take the road to the right (follow the busses).

A little ways down, you will see a sign for FW, turn right.

FW will be on your left. The parking lot is right there. That area of FW is called the Outpost. Take any bus (orange, yellow, purple). They all go to the Settlement (where Pioneer Hall is located).
