Whats the best time of the day to go to the Biergarten in Epcot?

Ive been the the Biergarten in Epcot a few times.. usually around 5pm and always have a good dinner. I always noticed though that its not very crowded at the times that I go which I didn't think was a big deal until I saw a video of the Biergarten on youtube that showed the place totally full which gave it much more energy. The band seemed to feed off the full audience more and there was a more party type feel to the whole place.

Anyway, does the Biergarten get more full/rowdy later at night? Or do you think the video that I saw of the place was during a spring break type of holiday or something¿

I have reservations for 5pm again on my next vacation in february but I would change it to later or maybe a different day of the week if the Biergarten is known to be jumpn at a certain day/time?

We love going to the Biergarten. We have done late lunches and had good crowds, we have also done dinners around 630 and had good crowds. We went once for a late dinner..close to closing and it was not good. So I'd say anytime but right by closing

My family has gone a few times both for lunch and dinner. I have to say, that I enjoyed Dinner around 7:45-8. Lunch is always attractive because it is less expensive, we went around 2ish, I think. All times were fabulous, though the closer it got towards closing, the less "refills" they bring out, especially if it is a small crowd.

The best time we ever had there was for a late dinner - the band's last set. It seemed like CM's from all over the world suddenly showed up, and they all danced and sang along with the band (there may have been one or two adult beverages involved). It was great fun!
