Anybody know whats next on the agenda for new rides at the parks. Is there anything in the works? I was at magic kingdom yesterday and was thinking it may be next on the list for a new attraction. Epcot got Soarin and a new Nemo. AK got Everest, DHS got TSM. The only thing I can think of that MK got was Laugh Factory and a few refurbs. I was thinking maybe there is something to replace Buzz. After riding TSM, Buzz is not as appealing.
I know DHS is getting an American Idol type thing. Probably somethings gonna go where the Hunchback Theatre was. Possible revamp of Indiana Jones. Sounds Dangerous might get a revamp. Probably they're going to close the Narnia thing in a few months and put something else there. Maybe something for Prince of Persia? TSM is supposed to be the first of a bunch more Pixar rides there so who knows?
DAK should be getting a new show or ride to replace Pocahontas. Rumors of Camp Minnie Mickey getting closed entirely are out there. Also, Primeval Whirl is due for an update.
At EPCOT Innoventions just got a new exhibit Storm Surge. They're looking to redo the whole JTI pavillion again, probably a new version of the ride. Also rumors of them replacing HISTA with a 3-D Movie with Figment and Dreamfinder. Basically WS is gonna get the KP stuff again, and the China pavillion is getting a major overhaul.
MK's getting a new possibly temporary parade. THM and POTC were just revamped last year. Sounds like CBJ is next. Also the rumor is CoP is closing in favor of an Incredibles ride. Also they were going to have something for WallE in Tomorrowland too. Rumors of a new thrill ride or show in Fronteirland. I remember hearing rumors a while back about doing something Cars related with Autopia but it looks like DCA is getting the new Cars ride. And they're probably going to go ahead with the Space Mountain revamps, just noone knows when. Possibly IASW too.
DD and WWOS are the most active right now. PI's getting a total revamp. T-Rex Cafe should be open this year I would guess. WWOS has been expanding for a while now too.
But yeah Disneys saving most of their money for the massive revamp of DCA. Look for most of Paradise Pier to be gone, and a new land behind ToT which will feature a Test Track like Cars ride.
