The week after Thanksgiving through the week before Christmas is WDW's slowest time of year. February is actually considered peak season down there.

Or...the week after Labor Day, to the day before Thanksgiving.:)

Basically anytime the kids are in school, and there are no extended weekend holidays, are slow. Things always will be busier when school is out.

This is from www.waltdisneyworld.com and is the "official" Disney outlook on it.:

Lowest Attendance:
January (except New Year's Day) until just prior to Presidents' week in February
The week following Labor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week
The week following Thanksgiving until the week prior to Christmas

Moderate Attendance:
After Presidents' week in February through early March
Late April through early June (except Memorial Day weekend)
The first part of Thanksgiving week

Highest Attendance:
Presidents' week in February
Mid-March through Late April ("Spring Break")
Memorial Day weekend
Mid-June through Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day and weekend
Christmas week through New Year's Day:)

I agree...
September is slow, but there are rains...
January is slow, but you face the brazilian tour groups too...
The week following Thanksgiving would be the best time for me. :animwink:

NOOOOOOOOO. We have a trip planed for Jan 1 to 8 2004. It was supost to be Dec 13 to 20, but my hubbys shchool changed the way their semesters are, and he doesn't have as much time off before Christmas as before.

Of course we are nuts becuase we are also going Aug 13 to 22, bring on the summer heat and crowds!

BTW Hi Maria, long time no see. (you might have been around, but we weren't on the same threads for while.

I've been there early-mid December and also late January. Very low crowds both times. (Though we had some COLD days in January - one day had lows in the mid-20s and highs in the 30s! This was abnormal, however.)

If you go in the offseason, you'll never want to go again when it's busy!
