OK, i have tried searching for this on the whole site, but i will say i'm not the best searcher.

I'm trying out for a soccer team here in Cinci. And that team has a trip to the WDW Christmas cup or something like that. Playing starts the 27-30 and were going to spend some time at the parks. The last time i was at WDW for christmas was probably like 5 years ago so i hardly rember it. So i was wondering what the attendence and weather is like in florida after christmas?

Thanks for the help!

great time to go

i was down there december 27 2002 to january 4 2003

weather is great not cold but not hot, on average temp is between 65 and 80 i'm from the northeast so its great, no snow.

the crowds are ridiculous, lots of people, it is a peak time.

if you can be there on new years eve and new years day. if you are there on new years eve, go to epcot for the day and be there at midnight, you won't be dissapointed

December probably brings some of the best weather to be on the pitch!

Some days, it's going to be rainy and around 45-50 degrees, and the next day will be sunny and around 75!

If you go to the parks, the crowds will be nuts so bring your patience.

Good luck with the tryout. The Disney WWS complex has great fields. I've reffed a few tournaments there and oh, the fields are so nice!

Yeah temps are pretty chilly for Florida. Night sometimes got around 50s when we were there last year at the same time. 70s to low 80s tops.

I highly recommend going to MK on the 30th to watch the first performance of the NYE fireworks since it will be "less" crowded than the following night.

Just remember to expect a lot of people in the parks.

Pack for warm or cool weather. We always dress in layers and be sure you have some gloves. I was glad I had them in my pocket one night when we were waiting for Illuminations.

I love going at that time of year! The parks are decorated and festive!
It will be crowded, it is pretty safe to say that New Year's Eve is the most crowded day all year long....make sure you get there early as the parks close because they reach capacity and park hopping is often stopped for periods of time.

The New Year's Eve Fireworks are probably the best you'll ever see anywhere...simply awesome!

The weather is tricky...You can be doing anything from wearing a winter coat to wearing shorts and a t-shirt. So check the 10-day forecast on weather.com before you go and pack accordingly.

Good Luck with your soccer and have fun! :xmas:

Insanely to the point of scary crowded - bring your tylenol and accept this fact going into it and you should be ok. You're gonna have to wait - a very long time - for anything.

If you think the 50 minute wait for Peter Pan in September is crazy, just wait until you see how long it will be then.

Not any more. You've revived it Larry.
From what I've heard, that's the most crowded, zoo-like time of the year.
I'll never see it first hand. But I can't wait to go in early December for the Xmas atmosphere.
