Whats everyone think of the Barnstormer?

I'm heading to Magic Kingdom on Dec 4th.. and I'm hoping it wont be too busy. Its a sunday and its only open until 6.. but I bought the Christmas Party ticket for that night too so I'm hoping to get a lot of attractions in that full day.

There are a few attractions that I never did before which I may try to get in that day.. like:

The Barnstormer.. lol.. this thing always looked fun.. but can adults enjoy this or is it just for kids?

....and that doesn't mean it has strong g-forces, it means it's short! :p

It's very tame, but a good introduction to roller coasters for newbies. We once had Goofy riding it with us!

You are only required to be a kid at heart. As far as "kids" coasters go it is very good but the ride is quite short.

It's REALLY tame. In my opinion, it's a kiddie coaster...although I seen adults get on it all the time. The seats aren't comfortable at all and my friend and I barely fit in it...and we're both pretty small.

But hey, give it a shot.

I totally agree, that is the first thing I thought of when I rode it. I always feel there is something poking me in the back when I ride it, but fortunatly in that respect, the ride is over so fast that I am not discomforted for long.

Try it...I'm sure you'll love it! It's so much fun when you're about to 'crash' through the barn! You need to ride it at least once. If you go during the afternoon parade, the line is usually shorter.

Barnstormer's time out of the loading area is just over 20 secs. It's quite short, but the wait isn't long as a result. Raise your hands in the air and scream your head off! Enjoy!

Its my wife and I's favorite ride at MK

edit: according to RCDB (dork!) Barnstormer only goes 25mph...both Space and Big Thunder go faster (according to the site), and probably Splash is the fastest at MK with that 5 story drop?

When we went to disney two years ago my then 4 year old said it was her favorite ride. Well we finally went back last month and after riding BTM and SM she could not wait to get on the barnstormer. After we waited 25 minutes to get on the ride and off 30 seconds later she said " Thats it... :veryconfu ". We laughed for twenty minutes and she could not wait to go back over to BTM. But its was a fun ride for the little ones
