Where is the “none of the above”?..

I know that a lot of people are going to say “dump ABC” but I think that for the long haul, ABC is more of an asset than most give it credit for. As long as Disney has ABC, they are GUARANTEED some sort of access to every home in America weather they have cable, satellite or rabbit ear antennas and the problems with ABC have all reared themselves under Disney’s watch. That means selling it off at a loss if they can find someone to buy it. Turing a network with such low ratings around is difficult and takes time. They’ve started to show that they are doing so and on a lower budget but it will still take years to win a solid fan base back and I think they would be foolish to give up this network so early on in the fight... Just MHO. :)

Kill off the extra radio stations, ABC Will turn a profit espn already does, and the theme park and films are a staple of the Walt Disney Company. That and theme parks usually bring in the most money

I agree with Mr. P on the "none of the above". Each of the entities could be profitable on their own with the proper management. Together, they can work in tandem with cross promotion to have more value than they would individually.

Thanks for the very interesting article. The thing that scared me was:

"Disney now searches for ways to develop big-ticket attractions at a lower cost. Big thrill rides, the ones that scare people half to death, now have the same benchmark as blockbuster films: $100 million and up."

I was just voting on the stipulations provided for this survey, so I said dump ABC, but I agree, it is a potentially good investment for the future. If given a None of the Above, I would have voted that way as well. I just figured we should choose from what was given. ;)

I hope whoever voted for the ESPN/Disney Channel did so because of the Disney Channel and possibly other channels besides ESPN. ESPN is one of the best things the Disney company has going for it.

I voted for ABC based on the choices, but I too would have voted for none of the above.
