What would you like to see in an Adventure Land overhaul?

When the FL expansion is done lets assume Disney is going to overhaul AL as thier next major project in MK. What would you like to see?

For me:

Removal of Aladdin Spinner and that left empty except for maybe a planter and some benches.

Swiss Family Tree House

Re themed to Tarzan them but acting as a queue for a Tarzan coaster. The actual walkthrough would be part of the line to entertain guests as they wait.

Indiana Jones Adventure
On the large expansion pad in the back of AL

Jungle Cruise: Would be changed slightlty to actually become part of the Indiana Jones Adventure. There would be a change to the exit of JC to redirect you to Indy to add to the theme. You would be on that long Journey to the Forbidden Temple. So the only way to get to Indy would be to first ride JC. Once exiting JC there will be two paths one leading to Indy and one leading back to AL for peopel that don't want to ride Indy.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the path that leads back to the rest of AL for people that don't want to ride Indy is also and alternate route to Indy if you don't want to ride JC. Thought that was kind of obvious so I didn't point it out originally.

Tiki Room

All buildings near TETR would be partially cleared and so would the existing building. One larger building would be constructed to house The Enchanted Tiki Restaraunt. Table service dinner along with the Tiki Room show like Walt's original idea.

Those are my Idea what would you like to see?

Requiring you to ride an attraction to go on another attraction? What an awful idea.

#1 What if JC is under refurb?
#2 What if JC breaks down?
#3 What if it is stormy and JC has to be closed, but since IJA is indoor, it could stay open?
#4 What if there is a legitimate reason someone could go on IJA but not JC? For instance, afraid to be in a boat?
#5 What do you do at the beginning of the day? No one gets to go on IJA until they cycle through JC?
#6 Same with the end of the day. 'One last ride'... does the park have to wait for everyone to cycle through JC and then see if they want to go on IJA before they can close the attractions?

There are many more problems with the idea, but no reason to point any more out. Just a bad, bad idea.

Remove Aladdin attraction and Agrabah Bazzar theme.

Reimagine the Tiki show with new script.

Utilize the restaurant space with actual food service.

Pull Aladdin. It's way, way, way too cluttered in that area. I hate it.

Add Indy. And, they shouldn't do a ride based on any of the movies or the ride in DLR. I don't want clones between the two American parks. DLR and WDW don't have to have the same attractions. I think there should be a completely new story for the WDW version of the Indy ride. Keep the system, but change the story and the track.

Create a new Tiki Room show that invokes the characters and feeling of the original with advanced technology and a (slightly) new script. Get rid of Iago and Zazu. Andstop with the attempts to be "hip". Disney is best when it ignores trends and tries to be timeless... especially considering that the attractions have to be around for a couple of decades before they're changed.

Update JC with new tech, but keep as much of the old script as possible. The current figures are kind of silly. I know that's part of the appeal, but wouldn't JC be cooler if a croc or a rhino was actually moving toward your boat at some point? Not saying it should become a thrill ride all of a sudden, but they should make it a bit more realistic.

I hate to say it, but I think the tree needs to be re-themed. People don't know what Swiss Family Robinson is anymore. I do, but I'm 31. I don't think it needs to be re-themed to Tarzan because, well... why does everything in WDW have to be themed to a movie? Come up with a new story. Tie it to JC and the new Indy story.

Pirates? Yeah... unless the Company wants to clear out a bunch of land, create a body of water and put the Black Pearl somewhere around it, I think Pirates Plaza is fine... though, I could do without the shuttered counter service restaurant for most of the year. That's just tacky.

Take away aladin and the tent look

bring back TETR but with a completely new script and new technology to make it unique.

give us Indy but change the track, rooms, story, and building to make it different from DL's like the above poster said

(Although a mini tommorrowland refurb is probably a lot more likely.)

I'm of the same mind as (seemingly) everyone else, that Aladdin needs to go. I hate trying to push and squeeze through that area because it is so crowded. The original plaza was so much more effective and attractive. Now Adventureland is one continuous bottleneck from the bridge all the way to the Caribbean Plaza.

I'd like both Adventureland Veranda and Pirata y Perico reopened for daily use. The rumored Pirates-themed character meal makes SO much sense I'm surprised that it (still) hasn't happened.

I certainly wouldn't mind an Indiana Jones attraction added, clone or not, but I'd rather see that go to the Studios personally.

I think the Treehouse is what it is, no matter the theme overlay, so I'd just as soon it stay Swiss Family, if for no other reason than it might make a kid look past his Disney DVD collection to understand the source material.

Tiki Room: Under OLD Management would be a VERY welcome change.

The Jungle Cruise needs something, and I don't think camp is it. The cute, humorous additions were probably for the better back in 1962 when they were added to Disneyland's version, but I don't think they really work like they're supposed anymore. Could an actual storyline and a more serious tone (along with some tweaks to the show scenes) "plus" a classic attraction without offending the nostalgic fans?

Well how do you really feel any way this idea isn't min it was WDI's original plan when they first wanted to build Indy in DL. Obviously there would have to be an alternate route I thought it was obvious and didn't see a need to point it out. I don't see a problem in re routing the exit of JC to drop people off infront of Indy. It would tie the whole area together thematically. You did notice that I said that there was a path leading back to AL after JC for people who didn't ride Indy right?

Have two queues?:shrug::lol:
This right here alone would be a major plus...such a needed quick service in a perfect location. Every time I attended CM functions in there it looks so sad going to waste.
Yep....It always looked so nice, too.

TOTALLY forgot Tikis. Add that to the top of my list....and bring back the old show. None of this Stitch integration either.:zipit: I would rather keep him in SGE, where he belongs and fits.
