What Will You Go Out of Your Way to Do?

Is there anything in particular you enjoy seeing or doing in WDW that you would go out of your way just to make it part of every WDW vacation? Could be something you enjoy at one resort even if you're staying at another, or something you enjoy doing at one park even if nobody else in your party is as enthusiastic about it.

I know my wife and I enjoy eating at least one meal (lunch or dinner) at Roaring Forks in WL because we love the sandwiches there. Until recently, I was the only one who enjoyed Maelstrom enough to take it in on each trip.....the others didn't think too much of it (and obviously it's gone now). I also like going to the Cool Zone and getting free drink samples in Epcot (Vegi Beta particularly).

I like walking around the resorts and exploring, seeing all the different themes if it's at one like All Star or Pop Century.

I always have to make my way to Beach Club and sit in the Solarium. Whether we're at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, I eventually make my way there. It's so pretty and peaceful! :inlove:

Lunch at Sanaa.

Dole whip swirl at Polynesian.

I also make sure to do a walk through the Morocco market at EPCOT. Through the archway, around a corner, and you can no longer see or hear the park. You're in a tiny alley with shops on all sides and not many other guests. It's a neat little escape from the crowds.

Yes
Make our way out to the Wilderness Campground just for the Hoopty Do Review and dinner at Boma (with a stop at Mara for Zebra Domes to take back with to SoG)

Always have to make the walk from EP over to play mini golf. I never think about what a distance it is until I am half way there.
Walk from MK to the Contemp dock in the evening to watch Electric Water Pageant and another time to do a water activity at Sammy Duvalls
Take a trip to Wilderness Lodge to eat at Artist Point and view the water geyser erupt
Ride the boat across the World Lagoon just to see the countries from the water.

We go out of the way to go over to POR then take the boat over to DTD and back because we enjoy the scenic boat ride. We usually do walk around DTD while there. We also like to go over to the Boardwalk area and walk around all the resorts.

This is a New one but Last year during my DD ( 16 months) first trip she LOVED the characters! Now I will always go out of my way to make sure she can meet as many as we can.
