What/ when is Presidents week?!

Hey Everyone...

I'm from Canada, so this is more of a technical question. Everywhere I've looked it talks about President's week being pretty busy... my question is, i know Presidents day is the 21st of Feb this year, and were thinking of arriving on the 23rd/24th, is this Presidents week? I'm not sure what that term means...
will it still be pretty crowded by the Thursday of that week? I'm thinking that the weekend before could be busy since it's a long weekend... but what about by that late in the week? do you think we'll miss all the excitement, which is kind of what we're hoping for!

Any help would be awesome

I'm from Canada too! (Toronto)

Crowds will probably start to rise the Wednesday or Thursday before President's Day and will peak on the Monday (it is crazy that day!) but it will be busy for the rest of the week.

According to different resources I checked, I think it is going to be really busy that whole week. It is one of the highest attendance periods during the year.

That week is very busy in the market.

Not only is it a long weekend, but many northern schools have that week off.

On top of that, the Daytona 500 is that weekend. (on Sunday)

The whole week is busy in the market.....don't expect any good hotel deals, as there are big conventions in town along with the above normal tourist traffic.

We arive on the 25th and I am a little worried about it. It never occuried to me that we would be there during PW. We just go for hubbies spring break where he teaches and it is the 1st week in March. This year it is a little early (more the last week of Feb, few days in March.)

March is always peak season and yes some college spring breakers do go to WDW, but most don't spend the whole week on propterty (but we did back then!)

A lot of private schools in South Florida have off that week to go skiing( :dazzle: ), and I know that Disney will be pretty packed that week. Not just the weekend, but the WHOLE week will be. Good Luck Anyway! :wave:
