What was the May 18th announcement?

I'm just curious as to what this major May 18th announcement was?

Animal Kingdom is holding a pecial day for annual pass holders.....I forget what the Mickey Monitor said but it was something like they get the entire DINO-RAMA section to themselves towards the end of the day......and I think it's the opening of the AP lounge....

I could be wrong though....but it had to do with AK....I'm sure of that!

I checked the threads yesterday and there was no talk of any announcement.Some think it was a hoax

It was just a rumor. The official word from Disney all along was that the new annual passholders lounge in pizzafari was opening on the 18th and there was an event held for that. It was in the mickey monitor. The announcement thing was just rumor and speculation started on the internet somewhere.
