On my last trip to WDW in late August, I remember seeing like a monorail piece or something that was set up.

The piece is located in the Blizzard Beach/ All Sports area. I remember it being right before you get to the Mc Donalds on Disney property.

I know this probably isn't an expansion of the monorail; but I was just kind of curious of what it was. Anyone know???

Strange, I also went in August and I don't remember seeing it, but you are probably right. What exactly are you referring to as "piece" ?

[Monorail Lime]

Do you mean a piece of a monorail vehicle? There is a mock-up of a monorail nose that they bring out for special events sometimes. It's a spare from when they built lime & coral on-site but there is nothing inside. It's usually kept outside on the south side of the Contemporary, you can see it from the monorail if you are lucky.

If you meant a pylon or a piece of beamway, I have no idea what you saw. I might have to investigate.

Ok the piece looks like monorail track that is sort of close to the ground.

If you are traveling on the road that goes by Blizzard Beach you can see it. It is like 100 yards before you reach the Mc Donald's. It is on the right side if you are coming from Blizzard Beach and heading towards All Star resort.

Has no one else seen this besides me. It's fairly obvious if you're traveling on the road. I just can't beleive I'm the only one who saw this. It looked fairly permanent so it is probably still their.
