When we were on our trip, we went to AK and rode Dino. It was just me and my older two kids. While on the ride, the car lurched and stopped. All of the cars stopped where they were. After a minute, the looping sound track stopped. The lights came on. Of course, we, then, could see everything. It was cool, to me, to see the technical side of effects. We could also see the 3 vehicles in front. I attempted to take photos with my cell but it was too dark without using a flash. After about 5min or so, they announced the ride would start again. Lights went out, sound started...waited..waited...then the car lurched forward again. We went forward and around a corner and it stopped again. This time, they just announced for everyone to stay in their car and a team would get you and walk you out. Thing was, we were the wheelchair car. My son uses a chair and so did an older guy with us. We sat for a good 15min before they got to us. When I told them we needed his chair, they said they had been looking for us but didn't know where we were on the track. The guy said he'll walk it, just slowly. But I knew my son couldn't make the long walk up and down the hills and flights of stairs and I couldnt carry him that far so we had to wait for them to get a temp chair in the ride to get him. We hung out with some ride people while we waited. It was neat seeing the animatronics continue to work with no sound lol. When the chair got there, they took us the long way down. We walked the rest of the length or track. There were lost things everywhere! Hats, wallets, tickets, lol. Hydraulic fluid was everywhere! It was actually a little creepy. Kinda reminded me of The Langoliers movie. Weird was, when we got to the bottom, I guess it was right before the "time jump" back home, there were big security guards that stopped us from going further even though we were with staff. So we were taken through back hallways through crew areas around to the loading platform to get his chair and leave. The CMs were so cool and even took us in other areas showing us hidden mickeys and whatnot. We ended up being inside the building for over 1.5hr, much to my husband's delight.
