What was before philliharmagic?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to remember what rides were in the old fantasy land. I'm pretty sure the winnie the pooh ride used to be Mr. Toad, but before philliharmagic, it was festival of the lion king...but what was before that?

Cuz I thought Magic Journey's was the pre show to Captain EO...but not that I htink about that, it was Makin memories right? What was magic journeys, I can't picture what it was! Wonder if it's on Disney-central.......btw, I give you two gold stars AND a plate of spaghetti.....Lady and the Tramp style

Magic Journeys also played at Epcot in the same theatre as Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Captain EO. So maybe that's where you're getting confused... and yes.. Makin Memories was the preshow for Magic Journeys!

Magic Journey's was the original 3D movie that played in the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot it was replace by Caption EO on September 12, 1986, Makin' Memories was the preshow for Magic Journey's.

Ah ha! I tihnk I know what's going on. I was born in the good old year 1983....so I probably don't remember disney around 85 or so. But I do remember Captain EO...he was so cool lol. Anyway, you say Magic Journey's was before EO and then it looks like it was at MK in the early 90's. So I probably saw Captain EO and then saw Magic Journey's at MK. What was the preshow song before Captain EO? Are you sure it wasn't Makin Memories?

While I'm thinking about it, if you're ever making a picture slide show, makin memories kicks tuckus for backround music It's my theme song!

Wait! Was makin memories also the preshow music for Magic Journey's at MK or only at epcot? Darn me and my young not-able-to-recall-things-when-I-was-really-young-mind.

I am not sure if Makin' Memories was used for Captain EO or in the Magic Kingdom. I sort of remember them changing the pre show at one time but still using the Makin' Memories song. Then they finally changed it altogether.

I used to go just (mainly) for the preshow, I have only been to the Theater a handful of times since they stopped using it.

I remember Magic Journey's from the Imagination Pavillion when I was there as a kid the year Epcot opened. I couldn't remember what it was called for years. Never saw Capt. Eo though.

Yeah "Workin for Peanuts" was the 3D cartoon short with Donald, Chip & Dale and an elephant.

I miss Mickey Mouse Revue. I want to go to Tokyo Disneyland just to see it again. Was a pretty short show, but one of the best WDI has ever done (besides America Sings).
