What brand of oil do you use in your automobile? Why?

If other, please list what you use. I'm not an auto expert so I couldn't think of any other brands.

Very good results with Castrol GTX. Use it in a 3.0 Sable and a 2.5 Altima. Seems to have reduced some of the valve noise. Stays very clean.

I use Motorcraft synthetic when adding oil myself. When it's changed, whatever it is that they dealership or Express Oil uses.

well I use mobil 1 synthetic motor oil I use mobil 1 in the transmission, rear axle and engine actually. I'm a machanic so I figure I'd rather buy good oil then replace components.

just FYI you should never mix synthetic oil with non synethetic oil. its ok to go back and forth but you should pic a brand and type and stick with it. its ok to change weights of oil but really if you decided to but syntetic once I'd stay with it but by mixxing regular and synthetic oil you are hurting your engine. Just keep in mind if you have a old car synetheic oil will find the oil leaks real well. sometimes it might be better to go with havoline over 75,000 mile formula.
