What to expect at Moonlight Magic

I did a quick search and didn’t find specific info.
As DVC Member’s, we will be participating in our first Moonlight Magic at Animal Kingdom in August. I see that we will be able to ride the rides, have special character meet and greets and we get free ice cream!
Will counter service locations be open for
Food purchases? I’ve seen some info online (pre covid) where the guests also get a meal voucher. Does this still happen?

They stopped giving out meal vouchers and now issue snack coupons (3 per person). The snack coupons can be used at most locations for most items marked a snack option on the DDP.

Select dining and merchandise locations will be open during event hours.

Shortly before the event night you are registered, you should receive an additional email from DVC with more details about the event. If they do the same as they did for the DHS events, a PDF version of the event guide should be attached to the email. I found the PDF version to be much more convenient and easier to read in the dark.
