Hey guys what places are open for late night drinks? It appears everything in downtown Disney closes at 11.... Is this right?

It depends on when you go. Normally on weekends Downtown Disney is open until 2am (even though certain establishments may close before that time). Boardwalk has an outdoor margarita stand and there's also Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar, which is open until 2am also I believe.
All the resorts have pool bars that are open until midnight as well. :)

Only stores close all by 11pm and quick service dining places. Restaurants like Raglan Road and several others will have people at the bar or eating much later than 11pm etc. Also Splitsville is open later especially on the weekends. And like others said in The Boardwalk there is JellyRolls open late and such. STK and some of the other restaurant/bars opening by the end of the year or beginning of next will also be open later at night at Disney Springs. The Boathouse is open late too that just opened. So there is current options and More will be open in the near future. :)

The bars in the old "PI" area in DTD stay open till 1-2am that and the Boardwalk area I believe is the same hours. Some of the resort lounges stay open till usually around midnight ish

Your best bets for "late" night partying are:

Atlantic Dance Hall (BWR) Call ahead, Kind of a stinker but still a place you can drink and dance till late
Boat House (PI) Open till 2am with nightly entertainment
Crew's Cup (YCR) Open till midnight
House of Blues (WS) Call ahead, Sundays are Service Industry Nights and the place get crazy
JellyRolls (BWR) Open till 2am and there is a cover
Raglan Road (PI) Open till 2am with nightly entertainment
River Roost (POR) Open till midnight with live entertainment Wed. - Sat.
Rix Lounge (CSR) Call ahead though they are usually open till 2am
Scat Cats (POFQ) Open till mignight will live entertainment Fri. - Mon.
Wave Lounge (CR) Open till midnight though depending on the crowd have stayed open till about 1:30am

Wandering around the Boardwalk and Downtown Disney is always fun and you never know what entertainment or Bars/Lounges are still open due to the crowd hanging out.

Great places just to get a drink to wander around with at these two locations:

__Boardwalk__
Belle Vue Room (BWR)
Boardwalk Joe's (BWR)
Hurricane Hanna's (Y&BCR)
Lobby Lounge (Dolphin)

__Downtown Disney__
Boathouse Dockside bar (PI)
Bongo's (WS)
H O B's Patio Bar (WS)
Lava Lounge (MP)
Margarita Bar (MP)
Paradiso 37 (PI)

I would normally just watch the fireworks (Iluminations, Wishes or Fantasmic) after a day of touring the park and then head to hotel.
Exception currently being Animal Kingdom where there isn't nighttime entertainment yet, so I go across to AKL for dinner and some night vision goggles animal watching.
If I watched Illuminations then might head to boardwalk for a wander and to see the jugglers but I'm not looking for a night out at Atlantic.
