Definitely it has. Tokyo Disneyland just announced they are closing their Captain EO in Tomorrowland and replacing it with the Stich interactive show that Hong Kong's Tomorrowland got. Not sure that's the best call for Anaheim, but I guess WDI thinks it's a possibility. Stich is at least more "futuristic" than a Monsters Inc. show.

It would probably depend on whether they go full speed ahead on Star Wars Land or not.

It's slated to become part of the Star Wars expansion. That's the only planned use for it as of now, and the attraction will remain open until that is finalized.

I wish they would rip it back out and clean up the area. The entrance is in such a weird place now and the exit/alternative entry/bathroom pit is a mess. I would rather see Pizza Port and Innovations turned into something new and have the theater back as an open area, maybe with a new restaurant.
