Actually, as of what I know right now, every attraction is on Express Pass now. A few days ago, Universal announced that Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster will now be on Express Pass, making every attraction an Express attraction.

How cool! Thanks guys. I was worried it would only be for the "big" rides. I think that since it is June we are going in and crowds might be crazy and it isthe 1st trip to Universal for me a DD5 this is the way to go. Thanks again!

Do you have to stay on site in order to buy the Universal Express Attractions. Is this pass extra at the door? Details please

Thank you

The universal express pass plus is an extra charge. The regular express pass is similar to the fastpasses at disney so they are free. Anyone can buy an express pass plus.

Yeah..I think are are in the $12-$15 range. But, here's something that you mind want to keep in mind on busy days. Take advantage of the rides that have single-rider lines. Most of the thrill rides like Spiderman, MIB and the Mummy all have this. You will save a lot of time as long as you aren't worried about riding with your friend. For example, I was over at IOA about a month ago with a buddy that used to work there. We wanted to ride Spiderman but the wait time was 45 mins. We took the single rider line and literally walked right onto the line. You may not need to purchase any additional Express Passes if you try this.

Just thought I would share my experience.

For some people that is a great idea, although I would be skepticaL to use it with a 5 yr. old. :D :D

When I get over to US/IOA at somepoint, I may just use the single riders line.
