What movie for you?

I just recently watch all the Jaws movies with my kids because I wanted to share some of my favorite movie memories with them since I was a child when those movies came out.
I did this also with Star Wars having them watch A New Hope first so they could be introduced to Darth Vader the same way I was in the theater.
Poltergiest was another favorite because it was very scary to me as a child. These are just a few of the movies I have watched with my kids for memories but others reasons as well.
I was wondering what movies you wanted to or have shared with your kids or your parents have shared with you as a bonding experience?

When I was eight my parents showed me the Back to the Future trilogy. I was warned that there were some words that "we don't say" in those films. Other than that, my dad bought the entire first season of Get Smart and showed it to me and my brother. We loved it so much that we now have all five seasons (Would you believe it? All five.)

Back when I was a kid, my parents introduced us to all the old, Disney classics. Out of all of them, I think my family enjoyed watching Bambi the most.

I forgot about Indiana Jones! I remember my mom picking me and my brother up from the last day of school before summer vacation and taking us to the movie theater to see Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom!
What about the Rocky movies? I watched those with my kids.

I don't have children, but some movies I loved watching with my parents were, like some of you mentioned, SW, BttF, IJ, and some others (aren't all really coming to my head right now) are mostly different Disney animation movies

I also started my son with the original Star Wars, then Empire then Jedi. I have never seen the 3 "new" ones, but he really wants to.

I have also introduced him to Iron Man 1 & 2, Hulk, Captain America, which led to us seeing Avengers, Iron Man 3 and Captain America 2 in the theaters.

About 5 years ago I watched The Color Purple with my daughter, who is now 19. That was nice.

I had my 19 year old daughter and 15 year old son watch The Rescuers with me. They really liked it. I told them how Arby's and other fast food places would give out a glass tumbler with the characters of the movies with purchased meals. We still have them but they are all faded.
