What might the POTC sequel be like?

What do you think it would be about? Would it have to do with the story of the first one or would it be somthing completely different like the Indy series?

I'm thinking it might be about some pirates that want to steal the Aztec Gold and sell it to the Brititish for a big price so that the British can easily over power the Americans during the American revolution, and Depp tries to stop the pirates. I don't know. That's just my thought. What do you think it will be like?

Do you think Will Turner and Elizebeth will have kids?

Will Captain Barbosa somehow come back? ( I hope so. He's a good villain )

What are your thoughts?

Hmm, I too ponder this same question. Here's a thought-at the end of the movie, after Jack Sparrow jumps off into the sea, Norrington is asked if they were going to do anything about it. He replies, saying he'll get a day's head start. Maybe the British will go after him???

I wish they would have included the cut scene in which Jack and Will are standing by the chest. Once the pieces are in, the chest lid closes by itself.

Then having the monkey at the end would lead everyone to believe that someone else has some of the gold again, because the chest is open again.


I think something like this might happen anyway.

I was thinking that maybe, since the monkey takes a piece back out of the chest, the Pirates will be cursed again and they will come back from the dead. They will rise from the Ocean and Ground and come back. Oh, wait, the monkey is the only one who would be cursed wouldnt he? Maybe they will make a prequil, showing CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow as Captain of the Black Pearl, with Bootstrap Bill and the rest of the crew. Then, the have the mutiny and maroon Jack on the island. They could show how he escapes. Then, how he gets the small boat and it could end with him sailing into Port Royale. Just a thought!

After watching the DVD last night I noticed there are several refernces to Elizabeth and Jack being similiar. When she's barking orders to everyone on the ship the female captain says "are you crazy?" and the first mate? says "Yeah, crazy like Jack!" And earlier Jack himself says we're like two peas in a pod. And the question remains, how does Elizabeth know so much about ship handling? So I would guess that there is a connection between the two of them that will be revealed. Brother and sister, she's been adopted by the governor perhaps or Jack could even be her Dad. Just my two cents.

Jack's son wants to be come a pirate, so he joins Elizabeth's son in taking the Black Pearl AGAIN! But Barbosa's ghost comes and has to take the ship BACK!!!



I'm not saying a SECOND PoTC film would be bad, but sometimes it's nice to leave good films alone.

Hmm.... Maybe Elizebeth is Jack's sister. Anyone else notice that Govenor Swan has nothing in common with Elizebeth? Maybe his wife died and he had no kids, so he adopted Elizebeth and didn't want Jack.

I personally wanna hear more about Bootstrap. So he got stapped to a cannon and sent to the bottom, eh? Well, hasn't he had ten years to get himself OUT? I wanna know how that worked - and if he's really dead or not.

Working title for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2?

An anonymous scooper contacted us today with what they claim might be the working title for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2. "I work for [removed] from Fantasy II F/X in Burbank, Ca," writes our tipster. "I can't give you my name. I can tell you this, I just saw some composite artwork for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: TREASURES OF THE LOST ABYSS I'm not sure if that's just the working title or not."

Well, since the subtitle of the first PIRATES film was THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL, and that was the name of Jack Sparrow's ship, it stands to reason that Disney may be thinking of using another pirate vessel in the title of the second film. But what's the Abyss and who owns it?


"The Lost 'ABYSS' is in references to the first pirate ship that sailed in the caribbean," explains the spy. "Sorry, that's all I know at this time. I have no information about the script. Disney had a rep here with the artwork. Very hush hush!"


So what did the artwork look like? Ah, that part we just don't know, matey.
