What Might Have Been: The Castle North Hall in "Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion"

"Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion" is an interesting game, functioning as a follow-up to both "Epic Mickey" and the "Illusion" series of Mickey Mouse games on Sega. If you notice, however, the artwork for the game cover shows a character who is conspicuously absent from the game itself: the Queen of Hearts (who has since been replaced with the Mad Hatter).

The main halls/wings of the castle are illusion versions of areas in Disney movies: the East Hall/Wing is themed to Neverland, the West Hall/Wing to Agrabah, and the South Hall/Wing to Atlantica.

However, it seems they missed out on the North Hall/Wing. Here is where we could have a world themed to Wonderland. Some of the characters from "Alice In Wonderland" do appear elsewhere in the game, including Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat. I was thinking, however, of moving the Wonderland characters to this northern area of the castle (their missions would be the same, however), where you would also meet the Queen of Hearts, who would function the same as Ursula does, in that she has no affiliation with Mizrabel and that eventually the Queen will be sent to safety in the Fortress, along with the other Disney characters.

Of course, this level will require other characters who have not appeared in the game thus far (who of course have missions of their own for Mickey) possibly replacing the Wonderland characters in the other parts of the castle, as well as being put in Wonderland itself. I'm thinking of putting in "Jungle Book" characters (Mowgli and Baloo at least) and maybe Chip 'n' Dale, but that's all I've got.

I've never really played the game, however. At best, I've seen videos of it on YouTube. What do you think?

Here they are. Plus from what I read the Hundred Acre Woods was planned along with the actual villains appearing instead of just Mizrabel taking on their forms.

Great! I would add on the additions of some "Jungle Book" characters (Mowgli and Baloo at least), as well as a few more Pooh characters (maybe Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore). I thought Alice, Mulan, Captain Hook and Pete do appear in the game, however, with Pete acting as an ally of Mizrabel and thus an enemy of Mickey.

They do this is just the only ones that has scrapped characters planned for Power of Illusion. Even Jack Skellington seen above was planned to be in it.

If there were more halls there could be a Nightmare Before Christmas level along with The Black Cauldron, Great Mouse Detective, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the Emperor’s New Groove.

The game could also have a sort of follow-up focused on Oswald; Oswald’s Redemption Quest. Rather than characters being pulled into the Wasteland, we’ve have evil forces escaping the Wasteland and attacking the other worlds. So more forgotten characters would be used there in that game.

He was already redeemed. In this Oswald is helping Mickey and Jiminy save the popular characters from Mizrabel.
Maybe Oswald himself disagrees with feeling fully redeemed? Even if the viewers do view him as such, Oswald might seek futher atonement.
