Next time I go, I want to bring a digital camcorder and record attractions and make a website for it. I want to record the following attractions.

Peter Pan's Flight
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Carrabian
The Jungle Cruise
Enchanted Tiki ROom under new management
Splash Mountain
The Mosaic Murals in Cinderella Castle
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Snow White's scary adventure
Everyone's houses at Toontown
The line to Space Mountain
Spectromagic
Journey into Imagination with Figment
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
The Great Movie ride
Fantasmic

So my question is, what kind of camcorder do you reccomend? I was considering one like the one my mother already has. Which is I think either a DZ-GX20A, DZ-MV730A, or a DZ-MV780A. She has one of these (can't remember which) I think it's perfect except that it doesn't connect to the computer. The other two models do though and I was considering getting one of those unless you guys reccommend something better.

I have a 2 year old camcorder that is still top of the line. I was abil to record a lot. I didn't want to record everything because it takes away from the experence if you have to look in a lense. I have taken my to WDW & Disneyland once each. This December will be my 2x at WDW with it. I am going just to tape the Christmas lights and the Christmas parades!

My tape of Fantasmic came out soo good!!

Recording Splash Mountain is a bad idea! My husband spent $1,500 on my camra I'm not gona risk getting it wet.

It's cheeper now, but when we bought it 2 years ago it was $1,500

definately go for minidv .. nothing else

but how much do you wanna spend ?

for with less than 1000$ go for a large single ccd cam.. for more with a 3ccd cam

for those dark rides a 3ccd is a must (green nghtshot is for the army .. not for disney rides)

you will find good reviews here and here

Agreed. That's why i'm using a small camera with a little screen on the side rather than one with a lens. Plus, as for Splash Mountain, I just want to record the inside. I'll proboly turn it off before the end.

sorry for the double post. I think i'll just ask someone at Circut City when I go to buy one. I want one at around $700 or so and nice and small so it's not a huge problem when on the rides.
