We were at AK yesterday and looking over one of the bridges we saw this:

We haven't been there for a while but I really don't ever recall seeing that. Can anyone tell me what it is?

I believe this looks like the new Festival of the Lion King theater under construction. Could be wrong though!

I suspect it might look quite nice when finished. If anything, they may use the opportunity to create a nice long-range view from that bridge, like the view of Everest from the Africa bridge.

I hope so! DAK has some splendid views along the river, to Everest and the Tree. The river and vegetation offer a beautiful frame.

I have not seen any artwork for the new LK theater. Here's hoping they have a surprise up their sleeve, a pretty new landmark / weenie!
