What is the typical wait time for Star Tours?

What is the typical wait time for Star Tours in the afternoon during a non-peak time (like October)? I just need a ballpark....half an hour? Over an hour? I have no idea how popular it is or how fast the line moves.

I can't say for October, but I know that in the summer (July-August) Star Tours hardly has a long line compared to other attractions. It's definitely well under one hour. We got a Fast Pass once and felt it was a waste.

The lines are nothing like what they once were as the ride has aged...now Rock'n'Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror draw the bigger crowds.

Off-peak, as long as DHS doesn't have EMH that day, I would estimate a wait time of zero. That's what it has been my last few trips; just walk in all the way to the loading area.

Star Tours has a decent capacity. It's also very flexible - Disney drops vehicles from operating when they're not really needed.

Wait time hovers between 15 and 30mins normally, sometimes it gets rather slow and at 5mins or a walkon, and when busy 45mins would be the high end. So, say 20mins or less for average.

We're planning to visit in October...is it a good time to go with you saying its off-peak?

I know that children over here have half term as hook said but are there any holidays due around this time for the US too?

year round schooling

In the US, many school systems have gone to a year-round schooling system, and for all of those, October is a break time. When we went in October a few years ago, the crowds were MUCH bigger than we had been expecting, and that was given as the main reason.

Your wait time is how fast you can walk through the queue without being stopped by slowpokes. the last few time we have gone we ride and have been able to sit where we want.

Last October I waited for my group (I don't do the ride) in the gift shop.

Half of them had fastpasses, the other half went standby.
I was surprised when they all came out at once, shortly after--
they had gotten in the same car
So the wait was effectively zero, around 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday, mid October (14th, actually, lol)

Yeah how true that is. Thats the only way i ride this attraction now. Its too dated for me. I do love the queue though.

In August we waited like 15 minutes. The year before in July we waited 2 minutes. I think the ride is great and the SW characters outside are really cool and enhance it but the ride itself needs some TLC. However, we still have to ride it every trip!!:)

Surprisngly, it was 20 min last week. It was not at the height of Spring Break, but it was busier than a down time, and not as busy as summer. Don't know if the wait time was accurate, as Indy Jones just got out and maybe they were planning for a big influx.
