What Is The Most Important Thing?

Cost and Time of the year combined. Need to go when the kids are out of school, but also need to be able to afford it at those times.

Cost and time of the year. We always go off season (summer is too hot and crowded). We usually always get a great rate being off season and offsite.

I would go with resort and food. I have been to Disney in every season and enjoyed them all. They all have there pros and cons. Resorts however are taste specific. You can control this aspect of your vacation. If you like the out doors you can stay at WL or FW. If you like modern, the Contemporary is for you. On a budget, PC, AA, or AS. Etc... My family likes a large non crowded swimming pool with some deeper water, great views and even better food. Having multiple restaurants allows us to eat at the resort often without getting tired of the same selections. One other thing in a resort that is important is having a room with 2 beds. Disney hotels cost way too much for any member of my family, including children, to sleep on a pull out couch!

Sometimes you just don't have a choice. But if I do, I try to plan around crowd levels (as much as possible, anyway). I also try to get the best deal on airfare and accommodations. Other than that, really, nothing else matters - I'm going to WDW!

Cost and lodging. Time of year doesn't matter because we are only available during busy times. But cost is always important, and I want to stay at a hotel that I like.

Definitely cost, crowds and time of year though they can be intertwined with each other. I mean, you'll definitely pay a huge difference between going in January as opposed to July. I'm not willing to pay to go to WDW when it's absolutely hot and extremely packed like it's been during the summer months! Not worth the money and all that trouble! But if time only permits during the busiest times of year, I'll take Spring Break over Thanksgiving, Christmas break and the entire summer any day!

Timing - when everyone can get off work/school. Cost isn't a HUGE thing for us - we have a timeshare so that helps. If planet tickets are too high we drive, we've done it plenty of times. It's expected that when we go we're going to spend a lot on tickets/food so...

you're married? I thought you were into male strippers :D
