My suggestion I tell others is to really question getting in a line >30 min at a Disney park as you can usually find a very good attraction with that length of queue no matter what the time and to never get in a line >60 min. With rare exceptions (hotly anticipated new ride) that’s my rule anywhere and I will only wait >30 min at most twice during the day.

15-25 is generally our limit.
If its longer than that and not a headliner we can usually pull a FP+ for 5 minutes later so less of a wait.
If we HAVE to wait longer we will up to but never beyond 45-60.
We have ditched lines many a time if the wait time says one thing and we are finding that its likely to be way longer than that. (Yes TT I'm talking about you and your always slow moving line lol)

With family and friends, wait times go quickly, so half hours waits are no big deal. But the circumstance and conditions are important. The queues for Indy, Roger, Big Thunder, Alice and others are pleasant and/or interesting, while Soarin’s queue is a cold, industrial slog.

And if it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip to say, Cedar Point, I’d wait hours for something like Steel Vengeance rather than miss it completely.

last december we waited about 80 minutes to get in slinky dog dash at HS only because we couldn’t get a fast pass for it. the wait wasn’t too bad. spoke to other guests & made the time go by quicker.

For what you pay and the average ride time, anyone waiting longer than 30 minutes is nuts.
Again, it depends. Waiting 30 minutes at DCA for a recycled kiddie ride that you can find at any carnival is nuts, but a 3 hour wait for a fantastic ride at a distant park you’ll never visit again is sane.

And, really, when you’re with company you enjoy, and everyone’s chatty, queue time is not wasted time.

I generally don’t get in line for anything longer than 40-45 except for really special circumstances.

Longest I’ve ever waited was almost 2 hours for Center of the Earth in Tokyo, I had to leave the park early that day and didn’t get a good FP time so I just bit the bullet cause I only had a few days left in Japan.

So most people would seem to be comfortable waiting up to about 30 minutes; interestingly the same amount of time as when FastPass is then recommended. This is what Disney should be targeting year round; and matches the wait times seen currently.

I've... never waited more than...25 minutes for a ride, as an adult....(except when I hit Disney way before fp, as a child, in july, where every ride was 40 minutes wait or more) but. we've been going every year, and I'm crazed about the fp at 7 am. even when our 60+10 was the day after xmas. on it at 6:50 am. no ride has ever been worth more than 20 minutes in my life. none. not. one. I think we did almost 30 for pirates..once. and we were ed about it, kind of ruined the day and mood. perfect example of how spoiled I am due to fp+/magicbands, i guess.
