What is the best way from Boardwalk to WDW Speedway?

My friend and I just reserved spots for the Exotic Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway. We'll be staying at the Boardwalk Villas and won't have our own transportation.

Our scheduled time is 8 AM and we're supposed to arrive at least 15 minutes early. I suppose we could take the bus from BW to MK then go to the TTC for the shuttle to the Speedway. However, MK doesn't open until 9 and I'm not sure I want to rely on early morning busses when we have to be at the Speedway by 7:45. I'm not even sure we could really make it there in that circumstance.

Our other thought was a taxi. I would cost us some but would probably be worth it considering travel/time constraints.

Has anyone else done this? Any suggestions?

I'm all ears ;)

A taxi should cost you about $7-10 with the tip. That's the fastest and most efficient way. Otherwise you'll be playing the Transportation Game- taking a bus to MK, the monorail to the TTC, then the shuttle to the Speedway, which will all take at least an hour, if not more.

Go with the taxi.

At that time of the morning, I would just bite the bullet and do the Taxi. Also check with guest services to see if something else can be arranged. There may be a shuttle service available to resort guests.

Though I'd probably go with a taxi, another option would be to use the Character Breakfast buses. They start running by 7am, if not earlier. When you get on, you tell them where you need to go.

Either tell the driver your situation and they'll probably bring you to the TTC, or they can bring you to the Polynesian and you can walk over to the TTC.

From the TTC a Speedway van picks you up and brings you over to the track.

I'm not worried about the $10 :)

So, taxi it is! Thanks for your input everyone.

Lastly, should we take the taxi to the TTC or will they go straight to the Speedway?

Also, I lucked out on this one. My friend convinced his wife to buy him the package for his birthday. Once she agreed he offered to pay for half of mine so we could do it together. Then, when he called to book they told him it was a Valentine's week special and he got an additional $80 off each. Pretty sweet.

Thanks again,

There is a small parking area for Guests driving themselves to the Speedway (there are signs as you enter the MK parking lot), so I presume that the taxi can bring you right there.

Afterward, the Speedway van can bring you back to the TTC and you can grab a taxi home from there, or head off to a park using WDW Transportation.
