What is the best Splash Mountain in the world?

Next mountain is Splash! Which is the best?

I'm torn between Orlando and Tokyo. Might just give it to Tokyo because it seems to be better maintained than either of the American versions. Maybe that's not a fair judgement though. Tokyo does seem to have better pacing though.

Disneyland feels like a clear 1.0 version of the attraction.

I would give it to WDW. Though Tokyo appears to be better maintained...the overuse of the hanging leaves during some of the indoor portions creates a claustrophobic feeling. The amount of leaves even block out some backgrounds creating a dark feeling. I feel WDW has the right amount of foliage and scenes appear bright and open. I know DL has more animatronics however in this case less is more. Plus you can see into other scenes at DL which can be distracting. I think what Disney didn't like about the original they improved upon on the later versions.

MK but DL has better music. The MK music is twangy and gets fatiguing.

You haven't rode Disneyland's version recently have you? Its in need of A LOT of TLC. Moreso then WDW's Plus DL's animatronics are over 40 yrs old at this point.

I just got back from my first trip to Disneyland after 25 trips to WDW and splash mountain was stunning. The AA's were all so great to see, it felt so much more dynamic then wdw. I had to keep riding it (5 times) to be able to catch all the details. Really wonderful.

The grass really is always greener on the other side. Having been on DL's 25 times in the past year, I feel the exact opposite and cannot wait to enjoy the MK's Splash in Sep!

Tokyo has the best queue and I like it the most. Since the queue is nearly all inside the mountain, the mountain looks huge compared to the other parks.

yup! I feel since this is a Disney World forum and between the two (FL and CA) Florida is better. Yes, I could agree but people do not even try to check Tokyo’s! Tokyo has by FAR the best Splash Mountain, people just aren’t taking the time to see the best (and most well-kept ) Splash Mountain!
