All the times I've been to Epcot I've never seen the American Adventure. Can someone explain to me what it is? Is it a show like the Hall of Presidents or is it a dark ride like Spaceship Earth? And also.. is it a pretty good attraction?

The American Adventure is a show more like the Hall of Presidents. It is a crowd-pleasing 29 minute production and is one of the most technologically outstanding productions in Disney history. Truly an EPCOT classic!

Don't forget the Voices of Liberty preshow - I consider them half of the show. :D

Yes it is a show with animatronic's but on a much larger scale then The hall of President's. There are many set's that the action is set on. It is a great show and is somthing that you have to see to really understand it.
You just barley beat me to it grizz

The American Adventure is the best show attraction at Disney in my opinion. It sums up our history in 29 minutes and keeps your attention riveted too. You definately need to go and check it out.

We skipped it the first few times at EPCOT figuring it was just another animatronics show. WRONG!!! THis is an excellent show. Ben Franklin and Mark Twain take you through the history of our country. Of all the characters, I love looking at the horse (with the Indian) most. So lifelike! And as was mentioned prior, don't miss the Voices of Liberty. They are outstanding! One of the guys picked me out of the audience a couple of years ago and sang to me. He was great!

You'll leave feeling all patriotic!

ameican adventure is a fun way to learn history i would know its the only way i passed my history regents  actually i am serious if i didn't go to disney and there wasn't something so inspiring to learn about american history like american adventure and i mean it in the good sense b/c it makes history easy to understand b/c history is a hard enough subject :brick: but thats what i see american adventure to be an ispiration espically after 9/11 and the song at the end golden dream just completes it i always felt that should be an american song to sing along w/ the greats like i am proud to be an american etc. b/c its such a great song with strong meaning and so is the show to the extent. i mean take it from a girl who as a child:snore: through it and now loves it each time she sees it and i can't not not see it its something i need to see as much as going on test track or rnrc its a staple that only needs one thing something needs to be done w/ the ending to show some love for 9/11 i mean the towers are just standing there its alittle sad:(

Oh, Susanna, right? :D Gosh, I *LOVE* that group. One of my first EPCOT memories - doing the same great renditions by Derrick Johnson today! :sohappy:

I don't like American Vybe. We've missed "Voices" on three of our EPCOT trips recently . . . and it made me very upset. The songs are not nearly as fitting as those of the Voices of Liberty - and their style/dressing is out of place before the show.

I'm not saying they're bad at all - their style is AMAZING! But please, I'd hate to miss Voices for them. And, for some reason, I feel that they are a possible replacement. You know, more-modern tastes doesn't always help attractions! (i.e. If You Had Wings, Mickey Mouse Revue, Cranium Command, etc.) My advice: put them in American Gardens or something. . .

Taking the Twin Towers out would be like taking out Dr. Kings speech excerpt. It is a defining Moment in American History, and since thats what the show is about, They VERY much need to be shown as part of the visuals on Golden Dream.

i didn't mean take them out jedi i ment something more should be done for respect to 9/11 that show has been like that since 93 it needs some updating and all i am saying it would be nice to see like alittle dedication maybe another verse in golden dream something like that in dedication to 9/11 and all the troops that are now serving for our freedom and not just the twin towers standing there like usual b/c thats the way it was put there and has been there since 93 when they extended it and changed the ending the first time

:D :D :D :D Oh, it's so charming. :D :D :D :D

Voices of Liberty have CDs out: Acapella Americana. I highly recommend them!

Did you know "THE VOICE" of Walt Disney World is many times the lead male "conductor" of the Voices of Liberty?

As for WTC, I wouldn't show the building being hit - but rather the rubble, firemen, etc. as a nod. (We didn't see people die in 1993 redo of the film.)

Do you know what I'm talking about? The announcements from parades and such? The deep, "Disney" voice?

For over 17 years Kevin has sung with EPCOT's Voices of Liberty. He's "The Voice" of Walt Disney World in Orlando, greeting the public and reminding you to "watch your step." He performs in "Miles & Webb," a nationally known duo, which sings for conventions and churches across America. As owner of Windfall Recording, Inc., he engineers and records demos and voice-overs. He describes himself as patient and gentle, caring and compassionate, happy and blessed.

Kevin has always enjoyed listening to barbershop music, but now is compelled to join in on all the fun. He brings to "PLATINUM" over a quarter of a century of professional singing experience.

He traveled with Derric Johnson's "Re-Generation" and is currently traveling with the vocal duo "Miles and Webb". For the past 18 years, Kevin has been a bass/director of the "Voices of Liberty" .

Making announcements throughout all four theme parks he is known as "The Voice" of Walt Disney World. He lives in Orlando, Florida with wife Jeri, also a quartet bass singer, and children Molly and Matthew.
