Pop Warner's effect on the parks is pretty minimal. They do however have a fairly profound effect on the value resorts (in particular All Star Sports). As you can imagine when you put a bunch of competitive kids together with minimal supervision things can get a little rowdy.
You know me...I'm a giver.I think you're being extremely generous in your description, but I'll leave it at that.

They definitely do NOT want a repeat of last year. It was a PR nightmare for PW and WDW.
In a nut shell 3 teams got in a fight ...twice.... and were evicted from property at around 2:00 AM.WOW!! What all happened last year?

The cheerleaders tend to be more of an annoyance in the parks but they generally do not do things that will get them evicted from WDW. They do however do things in the parks that will make even the most calm and rational person want to punch a 14 year old girl in the face.I was there last year 11/28-12/3/07 and had no idea anyone was kicked out.
We were staying at Pop and I did notice the increase of kids over the weekend. They made the parks seem busier and it was definately a little rowdier at night at the resort. On Saturday night my 16 year old daugher wanted to go to get hot chocolate - we were staying in the building with Lady right outside our door. Anyway, she called to tell me 3 boys in football jerseys were following her all over the food court and when she walked outside they followed as well and started saying suggestive things. I told her to go back inside the food court and wait for me. My Dad ended up going instead and they scattered as soon as he showed up.
The year before we were staying at Caribbean Beach and were eating dinner in their food court one night, when the place was over run by football players. They were loading up their trays with food and drink and then running to tables to sit together to eat. No problem right? Except, not a one of them went thru the line to PAY for their food. It was quite a fiasco when the coaches finally showed up and had to foot the bill.
Other than seeing the young cheerleaders chanting in the parks, they did not affect us to much.
Some will say the cheerleaders who complete in the Spring as 10 times worse, but I honestly don't remember any of them being evicted. I probably missed that story as well :lookaroun
:lol::lol:Been there, heard thatUgh, the cheerleaders.
No lie - Never rented a car at Disney until last year. After spending a week listening to the annoying cheerleaders chant, sing, and talk about how cute Billy is, or like, if you know, like Matthew liked her, like, we'd like, had enough. It was like, the last time, we would ever totally like, go to Disney without a car. Like, why do they have to do their cheers on the buses? Like, really. Like, can't they try and respect other people.
Totally.
