What is a ride/show theming that you like that is underrated/hated?

I got this idea after watching @marni1971 's new video on journey into your imagination and realizing that I love the theming of the queue, imagination scanner, and imageworks/gift shop. So now I want to know what theming of rides or shows that you guys like that others don't like at all or is underrated. Share why too if you feel like doing so. PS you don't have to like the content of the ride or show itself to like the theme. JIYI is a terrible ride, but the theming is well done in some areas.

Hmm, I think many of the attractions I enjoy the theming of are decently rated. And off the top of my head, I can’t think of one I really dislike that has great theming and is underrated.

Since The Great Movie Ride is gone, I think that would qualify as underrated. Part of what I loved about that attraction wasn’t only the ride, but how even before getting to the traveling theaters, you were immersed in that Hollywood movie spirit. They had the beautiful Grauman’s Chinese facade, the real hand and footprints outside, a beautifully decorated queue indoors with props from the films, and then the gigantic room with the movie screen. I’ve never been to the real Hollywood, but the theming here felt real to me. They could have had a more generic looking building or a plain queue like Philharmagic with just displaying movie posters, but they went for so many little details.

the popularity of that ride is definitely a wishy washy one for sure. popular and loved when opened, popular and loved when closed, but not in between. so yeah, I think that does make it count as underrated somewhat.

Frozen Ever After. Such an interesting ride, like people either hate it or love it. I LOVED Maelstrom, and thought I would hate Frozen Ever After, but during and after the ride I was really overjoyed. I know it can be argued that it takes away from the Norwegian culture, HOWEVER, it brings more families into WS. Maybe, just maybe, these kids will see a twinkle from the historical and cultural aspects of WS and fall in love with it for the same reasons we all did!

Gran Fiesta Tour - catchy music, adorable dolls, bright colors, and it's a boat ride.... with no line. Oh, and I happen to love the Three Caballeros - so cool to have the addition of the animatronics. All located in the prettiest little market place with the volcano, glittery lava, starry sky.
Getting a little nervous for Coco? Could be a new theme!

It was loved and popular in between too. A very classic and original idea that was never able to be replicated.

eh, I never heard or read that much people saying how much they loved it until after its closure was announced. all I heard/read during that in between period was how dumb it was to block the building with the hat, that's it. But maybe that's just my own personal experiences.

I think Tom Sawyer Island is pretty underrated. I just hardly ever hear people talking about it or acting like it's a "must do". I just love going through the caves and walking across the bridges and stuff. Also my little boy really likes it. My wife is not a big fan of it at all so we will just go over there together and play on the island. I always thought Streets of America was really underrated as well. That was one of my absolute favorite places to relax and really felt immersed in the atmosphere back there. I hated to see it go very badly.

I think Main Street is often overlooked. I see parents rushing their children through Main Street straight to Fantasyland etc. I tell ya, though, I could spend hours and hours slowly walking Main Street and enjoying its many details and the overall ambiance of it. However, it makes sense that children aren't at the appropriate age to enjoy Main Street. But, with age, hopefully they grow to appreciate it. AND, hopefully some of the adults that don't give it a second look give it some love the next time they're in MK!

I've actually been meaning to buy the book about all the names on the windows and go to each of them with the book. They say that's really fun but I just always get so caught up in wanting to look for Hidden Mickey's that I just have yet to get around to doing it yet.

That sounds so awesome! I've spent many mornings meandering my way up Main Street just taking it all in. It would be great to have a guide book while walking!

Dinosaur in my opinion is the most underrated attraction on property. It’s always compared to Indiana Jones because of ride vehicle and track layout, which is where the similarities end. Very fun ride with some awesome psychological thrills. Doesn’t get nearly enough credit.
I love this. Dinosaur freaks me out every time I ride it! It literally NEVER fails. Such a good thought!
