What if you arrive late?

I am curious what happens if your flight is canceled or you can't make it to disney until the day after you are supposed to get there?

My sister has the last flight and I know she is doing to miss her flight. Does she just have to call to make sure they hold it?

Just call and you should be fine. The DRC closes at 10:00 PM EST so I would make sure you call before then.

Officially, Disney will hold your reservation until 7am the following morning, which is when you will be considered a no-show. If your flight is delayed and you won't be getting in until 2am, you'll be fine. But if you won't get in until the next day, that's when you should call.

My DD got in the next day. Her flight was supposed to get in at midnight but was grounded. She took another flight the next morning and got in around noon. I went to the concierge the evening after we found out and explained that she wouldn't be in the midnight flight. She said not to worry just tell her to show her paper that showed she was a resort guest.

I figured they had to deal with this all the time because of winter weather and people missing their planes!

Yup, just give them a call.

If you don't call, they will certainly charge you a no-show.
