What if Disney made a sports game with their characters?

This has been an idea I've had for a while. What would happen if Disney made a game where guests got to play as their characters while competing in sports? It would be like the Mario and Sonic and the Olympic Games series, but with Disney and Pixar Characters.

Here's a lineup of possible playable characters, with ten characters in each category:
All-Around: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Woody, Jessie, Stitch, Belle, Pinnochio, and Elizabeth Swann.
Strength: King Louie, Sulley, Mr. Incredible, Ralph, Maui, Baymax, Beast, Luisa, Hercules, Baloo.
Speed: Dash, Vanellope, Mike Wazowski, Olaf, Sisu, Lilo, Will Turner, Flynn Rider, Antonio, Phil.
Skill: Goofy, Buzz Lightyear, Elsa, Moana, Elastigirl, Mulan, Merida, Hiro, Rapunzel, Aladdin.
Technical: Anna, Kristoff, Violet, Li Shang, Raya, Peter Pan, Tarzan, Jack Sparrow, Mirabel, Jasmine.

Main Events:
Every event would have a guest star. Some events include a villain, others include another playable character. Villains are unlocked in story mode while friends are unlocked in party events.

That's been done with the "Disney Sports" Gamecube and GBA series from 2002 till 2003.

Yeah, I see that now. However, those are restricted to one sport in a game, and not a whole variety of them in one game.
While I like the idea in theory. The problem is a game that focuses on a bunch of different modes, never does any of them very well. The Mario and Sonic Olympics games are a great example. While I wouldn't call them terrible, they are extremely mediocre at best.
