Hey There, So as the Summer begins to end & School is almost coming-quickly, I Was thinking about this for awhile but i wanna think "If i Improve the Vacation Kingdom but in a Different Year" meaning that maybe instead of it open in October 01, 1971, i was thinking either like August 27, 1968. So Join Me as we see what My Improve of "The Walt Disney World Resort" could look like & if it would become a success than what it is for Today's Disney World.

(& Yes this would still include Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom)

Introduction

So as we know, Walt Disney World is 27,400 acres, & host 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, buses & boats, an outdoor shopping & entertainment center Disney Springs, other entertainment venues & even so much on & off-site resorts to choose from. But... from this one i was thinking of adding in more & somehow different too, So lets get started.

WDW Phase 1 Concept - (1967-71).png

If we know if Walt would not smoked & not died in 1966, then he would gladly see his final dream coming to life before his eyes. The Conception of this What-If... "Vacation Kingdom" would begin in Late 1957 to Early 1958, 2 years after Disneyland opens in Anaheim, California, The Company found so-much land about almost 20,000 acres of Swamplands in Central Florida & Construction begins on July 01, 1964 for the First Phase of the Resort including: The Magic Kingdom Park, The Transportation & Ticket Center, 3/4 or 5 Resorts, a Golf Course Resort, an Trailer Campground w/ an Tri-Circle D Ranch & a Monorail that goes around the whole Disney World Property on 3 Main Lagoons.

Wait-a-minute... 3 Lagoons, yes previously this resort was going to plan-out 3 lagoons but now its still two. But in this idea there is room for one-more.

model1_web.jpg

As you can see in this pic & even in the top of the plan, i was thinking if this resort would add 3 lagoons - (instead of two), The two bodies of water of Disney World we know is Seven Seas Lagoon & Bay Lake, but on that third lagoon on the left, i would called this one as "Lake Wishing Star". The Lake Wishing Star is another lagoon fill with either resort hotels, golf courses, etc. - (which i would expand later days), But anyways.

2WDP Annual Report 1971_0001.jpg

Disney World would open its gates on August 27, 1968. Roy O. Disney & now finally Walter Elias Disney make their speeches at the "Magic Kingdom of the East", They raised up the flag like they did at Disneyland's Grand Opening in 1955, Parade Floats stretches from the Central Hub to Town Square & the more than millions of balloons were floating up to celebrated on this Fantastic-Magical First Day. Here is the Resort's dedication by Roy & even the Magic Kingdom's dedication by Walt that i made if this was built in 1968. - (& hey maybe i can do dedications to some resorts too if i like to)

Disney World Dedication by Roy O. Disney
"Welcome... to a World full of Wonders. Disney World is your World. Walt envisioned not only as another Magic Kingdom but as a whole new vacation kingdom fill with transportation from land to sea, hotels from far & wide and a magical-theme park where all your dreams come true all in one-place… and to the talents, the dedication, and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney’s dream come true. Disney World is dedicated to the ideals & dreams like we do at Disneyland and bringing in a source of Joy, Inspiration and New Knowledge to this new Vacation Kingdom of the World … a place where everyone of all ages in the world can laugh and play and learn together for generations to come."

— Roy O, Disney August 27, 1968

The Magic Kingdom Dedication by Walter Elias Disney
"To all who come to this happy place – welcome. Here in this Magical Kingdom of Dreams you will discover enchanted realms of Fantasy and Adventure, and here youth may savor our fond memories of yesteryear and our promise of tomorrow's future. May The Magic Kingdom bring happiness & joy to all the world & always to remember for those who believe that when you wish upon a star, your dreams do come true.”

— Walter Elias Disney August 27, 1968

As the years go by for Disney World since 1968, Walt & Roy make more plans for this Vacation Kingdom of the World, like thinking ideas for an second &/or even third gate parks for the resort - (since they had so much room to expand), and even Building an east-coast working movie studio like back home from their original studio in Burbank, CA. - (which would become Disney's Hollywood Studios).

& now Today, Walt Disney World continues to expand its future since 1968, bringing not only Roy O's but also Walt's Dream to a source of joy and happiness for people of all-around the world. & for this version i'm planning out, We will go over the five parks of the resort: The Magic Kingdom, E*P*C*O*T*, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom & DisVenture Park. & as well for many resort hotels, water parks, sport areas, entertainment districts & much more surprises. So i hope your ready as i take you around of this Walt Disney World but... if i Improve the Vacation Kingdom.

The Magic Kingdom Park

The main jewel of the whole Vacation Kingdom is The Magic Kingdom. Inspired from his other Magic Kingdom, Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California & open on August 27, 1968, The Magic Kingdom as a similar charm but on a bigger-scale. Home to 7 themed lands; Main Street U.S.A., The Wonderous Gardens, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland & Tomorrowland, The Magic Kingdom is host of unique rides and attractions, dining, shopping and experiences for everyone to do for either 2, 3, even 4 days of Magic Kingdom Fun & Fancy.

Main Street, U.S.A.

The Start of your Magic Kingdom Day begins at a Turn-of-a-Century Street calling for Main Street U.S.A., But instead of Main Street theming to the childhood home of Walt Disney, this time Main Street as its original story for an Victorian-Style Street like we see today & instead as a small town like at Disneyland.

Once through the turnstiles, we took a nice view of a Victorian Train Station inspired from Saratoga Spring's old railroad station in Saratoga Springs, New York, & fronted by a beautiful flower bed, complete with a floral depiction of Mickey Mouse’s smiling face right in the middle of it. An Echo of the station master calling out as The Santa Fe & Magic Kingdom Railroad, the authentic, 3-foot narrow-gauge heritage locomotive takes you on a 30/35 min grand-circle tour of the Magic Kingdom with surprises on each-corner like the Grand Canyon at the edge on the Rivers at Frontierland or even a diorama scene to a World of Tomorrow with stop stations from here on Main Street & a few from Frontierland & Fantasyland.

As we go into one of two tunnels located on either side of the flower bed, A bronze plaque above either tunnel read a familiar sentiment which you all know that quote on the Bronze Plaque is & we go into the tunnels where the attraction posters are inside & right into Town Square, the starting point on Main Street. First we would go to the left of the square, on the left is Chamber of Commerce, home to Package Pick-Up, have your packages sent here for pickup later in the day!. Next to that is City Hall, The Park's Guest Relations, Information & Lost and Found location. & finally to The Fire Station 68., which was the second Firehouse to be placed at a Disney Park if is a Magic Kingdom Style-Park.

On the Right of Town Square is home to The Elias Theater, which this building was also previously as a "Main Street Hotel & Exposition Hall" (which i would show you in this concept link here https://i.pinimg.com/originals/ae/70/a6/ae70a6a79e086afc18e4df3ab35fb59f.jpg) The Building was inspired from "Grand Union Hotel" in Saratoga, New York.

But now as removed in 2003 for more space of the Exposition Hall. Then somewhere in the late 2000s to the early 2010s, The Exposition Hall is now transformed into The Town Square Grand Theatre. a Broadway-Style Theatre houses to 1,500 seats in an Americana-Style Theatre of the 19th & 20th Century of Theatre-Life of America. The Whole Décor of the Theater has a similar designs from both Fantasyland Forest Theatre & Broadway Music Theatre at Both Tokyo Disneyland/Sea in Japan and even to the light bulbs arch across the ceiling & the balcony like in the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Illinois & yes there is also "Air-Conditioning" inside the theatre too for people to get cooled off in this Florida-Heat.

TDL_MickeysMagicalMusicWorld_7-2750564-1200x801.jpeg

The Elias Grand Theatre is home to an Mickey & Friends-Style Show like in the style of Mickey's Magical Music World at Tokyo Disneyland & Mickey & the Wonderous Book/Storybook Adventure both at Hong Kong Disneyland & Shanghai Disneyland, filled with singers, actors, dancers & even some special effects like holograms, smoke, laser-technology & even projected mapping all-around the theatre to tell a good story for this amazing show in the Magic Kingdom. at the exit of the Elias Grand Theatre is a gift shop "Box Office Gifts", home to merch of what show is playing in this theater.

& Finally right on the middle of Town Square, this is where they can take good photos with some Disney Friends in their Town Square Character Spot & also as a stop station for the Old-Fashioned Main Street Vehicles, we can board either on an Fire Engine, Horseless Carriage, Omnibus, or Horse-Drawn Streetcar, for a one-way trip to the Central Hub of the whole park or as The Wonderous Gardens.

Still on Town Square & following every sunset, The Flag Retreat Ceremony held every-single evening for a most-important moment at The Magic Kingdom. Its a thank-you tribute for the veterans for their service, sacrifice & dedication to protecting this country.

That's just it on Town Square, but soon we would be on Main Street.
