What happens if child needs to see a Dr?

So... I am SUPER excited! We leave Wednesday morning for Disney and are staying at the Poly. I have 2 boys, ages 5 and 8. We have been very lucky this winter when it comes to anyone getting sick. However, today my 5 yr old's best friend was diagnosed with strep throat. Despite our constantly telling them not to, they often share things like cups, snacks, etc... It got me thinking, what do I do if he gets sick in WDW? Is there a Disney urgent care center I can take him to if (God forbid) he needs to be treated?

Unfortunately, my son ended up with a double ear infection and we both got the stomach virus during our trip in November. We went to the urgent care center mentioned in the link twice. They were friendly and also were able to fill our prescription. It took awhile the second time be a use there were several people in front of us. We did have our car and it was easy to get to. I think my mom was told there was a service that would pick you up at the park or the hotel maybe for free. Not sure about that though. Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

I highly recommend Centra Care! When we were in Disney this past Sept, my baby was teething (her top 2 front teeth popped through while we were there) She was up every night crying. By the end of the week, we were worried she might also have an ear infection. Centra Care has a van that comes to your resort and drives you to and from their facility. The van was clean, the car seat was installed properly, the staff was kind and friendly, the facility itself was clean & professional. Best of all, they took our insurance and it was billed to us as a normal urgent care visit ($25).
