What Happened to Mr Potato Head at TSMM?

I was visting Orlando beginning of December and I noticed that Mr Potato head at TSMM was completely missing! The area he used to stand in now has a pretty permanent looking wall, and the line now extends into the area he is supposed to be standing. Has he been removed because of the expansion of TSMM? I've been searching around for information but can't seem to find anything on his removal. I took a picture and its horrible but you can see that wall where he is supposed to be

If the rumors are true that they are going to flip the entrance to the backside of the building to face the new toy Story land, it may require them to remove him for the time being. Maybe he will reappear in whatever addition they need to put on to the building when they build the rest of the land.

From what I have heard he will return it's just the whole headache of the way they designed toy story mania. Instead of using an old soundstage they should have just demolished the whole soundstage area,mand built a new show building, now look at what they're having to deal with. It may be more cost-effective for them but come on

Based on those blueprints, when you reach the ride, you should also get rewarded with a piece of cheese! Funny, it does not seem that convoluted walking through.

They have built a third track for TSMM in sound stage one, to the left of the existing queue. They need to remove Mr PotatoHead while they connect the queues up to use the new track as well.

Also as others noted in two years time or so when a Toy Story Land opens the entrance will switch to the back of the building.

While we were waiting at RD in november, the CM holding the rope was from the ride, she said that they had taken it out to make more room in the queue, it makes room for an extra switchback or 2. She didn't say if it would be coming back when the 3rd track opens..
