I heard a rumor that Living Seas was damaged by Jeanne. Anybody know the details?

I did not hear this on any of the news outlets up here, but I did just see a shot of the Epcot parking lot under water, near the Monorail beam, with SE in the background on CNN.

Havent heard a thing. The building is built like a rock, i sincerely doubt anything happened to it. Ewspecially considdering teh amount of pressure teh tank has to withstand.

That's the tank, it seems possible that the exterior would suffer some damage.

Due to the impact of Hurricane Jeanne, the Coral Reef restaurant will not be operating until Sunday, October 3.

The Living Seas pavilion and all dive programs (including Dolphins in Depth, Aquatour, and Dive Quest) will be operating as normal beginning on Monday.

Someone mentioned something about that to me earlier in passing. I wanted to try to confirm it before posting about it, since I didn't really know the person that mentioned it to me. Didn't want to go inadvertently misinforming the public and all.

My guess is flooding.

The Coral Reef is behind Living Seas and you have to walk down to a lower level to get in.

I suspect there is serious carpet damage due to the heavy rains.

Just an educated guess though...I could be wrong

The Living Seas suffered damage from a previous hurricane, Frances I think. I guess with the pounding its been taking since then, more damage is very likely.

You would think leaks in an aquarium would be somewhat of a major concern. I'm guessing that the Coral Reef isn't leaking...and that it probably just got damaged from the rain somehow. I'm also going to assume that the leak in the sea cabs area isn't serious, because they probably would have fixed it if it was.

I was actually at the Living Seas last Friday, and I was wondering about some damage I had seen. I'm not sure what this damage is whether it's a leak or what. I took a photo of it because it was in a rather obvious area.
