What franchise SHOULD have a presence in WDW?

Previously there were little stands in MK for McDonalds fries. Now they're going hogwild and putting Starbucks all over the place. Since they're going so commercial now in WDW, is there any other franchise you think ought to have a presence here? I was thinking maybe Dunkin Donuts would make a good fit. (I'd have suggested Krispy Kreme, but I think DD has a much better - and wider - variety.) Or you might add something like Subway in there too, since they're relatively healthy.

Disney has had commercial partnerships or sponsorships for a long time. Visiting Disney Land I remember Casa Del Fritos a Mexican restaurant heavy on the corn chips, a Carnation restaurant sponsored by Carnation milk, a Sunkist juice stand as well as an Elgin clock shop and a GAF photo/film shop. WDW currently has two Rain Forest cafes just like in our local mall so Starbucks in nothing new. That said I would love to see Dunkin Donuts on property

Many partnerships even before Starbucks, some have since ended, some will probably never end

Coca-Cola
Edy's Ice Cream
Nestle's
Kodak
Dole
Frito-Lay
American Express
Visa

Disneyland wouldn't have existed without the sponsorships....

Neither would EPCOT but that is part of the crux of the issue is that their business model for the pavilions is based on the supposition of continued sponsorship which in today's economy is not viable.

I agree. I don't have any major gripe with other products being in Disney. Especially when they are not blatantly advertised. I think they are doing a great job with the Starbucks in the parks.

I would prefer Pepsi to Coke in the parks but that's not a major thing, lol

If I were to choose something to add, I would like them to add a Salad Works (or any similar chain salad creation establishment) to the Park QS menu. I get so sick of burgers and since they are limiting the whole Be Our Guest QS thing by wanting it to be reserved, I want some place where I can just walk in and have something different than burgers or chicken nuggets. And salads are a somewhat 'healthy' option so would please a lot of people I think.

You could get a whole salad or a half and half, which would be half salad and a sandwich or a soup. I LOVE their Chicken Orzo. and a roll. or if you don't want a giant lunch meal, you can just get a nice soup and a roll to hold you over till dinner.

mmmmm...yea...that would be awesome.

I always thought a small and properly themed Walgreens or CVS would make sense in the downtown Disney/ Disney Springs area. I can only imagine that some out of town guests without transportation off property would appreciate it. However at the sametime as much as I'd like to see I don't at the sametime. Haha

I edited to add that I don't want a full blown CVS or Walgreens. Just a mini version, such as medicine and things like suntan lotion and things like that. Not food items or seasonal items or stuff like that. Also if one of them were to move in maybe Disney wouldn't charge $30 for 5 Advil!!

I don't mind when there are branded products in the parks like Coke, Doritos etc. What I do mind is a Starbucks Kiosk, McDonalds French Fry stand, etc. These are the types of things that pull reality back in WDW and should be prohibited, ESPECIALLY in MK.

Thank you for saying it so I don't have to.....again. :)

I think Apple is a great suggestion.

Tropicana or another orange juice company would make sense to sponsor fresh squeezed orange juice stands.

A Build-A-Bear selling only in WDW stuffies would be awesome too.

I also think it would be cool if more celebrity chefs opened restaurants at WDW, like Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, etc.
