What food and drinks can be brought into the parks?

Pretty much anything you want, that will fit in your backpacks, stroller pouches, carry ons, etc.except the alcoholic beverages. Avoid breakable glass bottles. We bring an assortment of snacks with us but it's wise to stay away from anything that will melt in the hot weather. Security does the bag checks but allows food and beverage stuff into the parks.

You can take lots of snack into the park, as long as they fit in your bag. If you think it might spoil use a small soft cooler with a reusable ice pack. Or just take some chips or cookies to snack on. I once saw a family of 3 at the sunshine seasons eating their sandwiches and chips they had brought from home, they were all sharing one soda. They each had their own straw for the soda though, I thought that park was a little odd. If you are going to share a soda with someone, why not use the same straw?

Like everyone said, no alcohol, no glass. They are picky about glass in the 4 big parks and EXTREMELY picky about glass in the water parks, as they should be.

They aren't supposed to let rolling coolers into the 4 parks, but every once in a while, someone gets through with one. I think they do let them into the waterarks, though, because I see them there more often. I think the water parks have a "two wheels and no more" rule, but am not sure.
